A wind farm in Germany is being dismantled to expand the Garzweiler lignite mine. One of eight turbines installed at the location in 2001 has already been removed. Nevertheless, the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia said it would phase out coal by 2030, as did RWE, the company that owns the mine.

Not giving up that much, the average lifespan for windmills is 20-25 years, maybe. Meaning they were ready for replacement anyway. Bet that coal plant will last twice as long for less money.

They knew they cost more in energy, than they'll ever produce, like 10 times the amount of loss, dd to that, the blades are not recyclable, they are a ground fill pollutant lasting thousands of years while leaching into the water supply.

Back in those days the free market was allowed to work. The left, however, saw that the free market would never allow them to have the control they desired. Hence they decided to on full offense to "outlaw" free market results and they have been working on this for sixty years or so.

I have learned these multi country trade agreements are not good for our (USA) best interests. We historically give up too much in order to get an agreement. I am all for trade agreements between two individual countries as those tend to
