Title: Simple Machines starting on smCore
Post by: taxed on May 18, 2012, 03:00:49 PM
This is a few months old, but SMF is undergoing a big change.  They are going to develop the engine to be durable and handle the critical stuff (file i/o, caching, etc) so third party developers can either create their own forum software using the engine, or develop add ons.  I posted this because this forum runs on SMF.  It will be a pretty cool.  Over the year and a half, Solar and I have talked about a bunch of ideas for the forum, and this would help us implement them easier.
