You are confusing homosexuality with being transgender. There are some people in the transgender community who are gay but many are not. A woman who transitions to male, may live as a gay man, but that is because he likes men.
It is a similar situation with crossdressers (not the same thing as transgender). Male crossdressers make up about 3% of men, but the proportion of gays among the crossdresser population is the same as in the population as a whole, about 9%.

I don't need to read up on Fabian socialism. I've lived under three separate NDP governments in both BC and Saskatchewan. You may have an academic knowledge of what socialism is on paper but have you ever lived under it?

As a conservative (I've was a Conservative activist for 35 years, working on campaigns for Stanfield, Clark, Erik Neilsen and a half dozen others, and ran for the Conservative Party in 1976), it is not my place to force you to do or believe anything. I was commenting on the article by Gliske and the response to my comments contained errors in fact that had nothing to do with left wing or right wing politics.
I no more have the right to tell you what to believe than we do to tell a transgendered person how to live their life. If we did, that would make us liberals (we know what's good for you types)
