You appear to have misunderstood me. I am not transgendered. I was assigned to be my department's liason with the LGBTQA centre on campus for several years. My assignment was part of our community based policing policy. During this time, I got to know several transgendered people from both genders so I have some familiarity with the subject. I can assure you, they were not all leftists. Most were, but not all.

If this person is a college professor, how did that conversation come up? Did you ask, or was there telling? How is that important in a business class? Is it that important for anybody to know someone's personal elective surgery cost? It's not like you guys were friends. It makes me question the ethics of this so-called business instructor. Money is green, and not rainbow colored.

Sounds like another lefty professor interjecting unrelated things at a university. One's "sexuality" is personal, and is nobody's business. Don't complain about "staying out of bedrooms" when you guys keep inviting people.

In the 50s and 60s queers were happy to just live their lives and go about their business and no one cared, sure, society poked fun, and made jokes, Milton Berl comes to mind and we accepted them,  that was life, that is, until Harry Hayes a known Marxist fag wanted to destroy American culture, look it up.
Then the Marxist left wasn't gaining enough ground on the gay movement and all the other created victims in the party, so they created "LGBTQA", which if you're paying close attention, they're claiming pederasts are merely misunderstood.

My reference to the prof is to illustrate that gender re-assignment surgery is very expensive and requires several years of assessment before the patient is permitted to have the surgery. It is not something you would do on a whim.
As for social acceptance, the police inspector I referred to, returned to work after completing her transition and her fellow police officers covered her desk with flowers and welcome back cards. She was featured on a documentary by the CBC.
