Firefox is in trouble. Their Google sugar-daddy agreement is up in 2023, and they've been trying to conjure up new avenues for revenue. While they did increase revenue some, they continue hemorrhaging market share at an unsustainable rate.
Good! They deserved it for turning against conservative ideals.
With that said, I find it interesting that the industry actually uses the word "Security", as if they they fool anyone.
If Google built it, they installed an access door.

No question, but it's not possible for them to do so with open source. Open source is what's kept the web from being locked down.

I feel like they know that ship has sailed. Decentralization, the movement towards privacy, post-Snowden, etc. The web ended up being their downfall I think.
