I am an emotion/cognition researcher at City University of New York. For our new study, we are trying really hard to recruit a sample of people that is representative of the US population in terms of ethnicity, gender, politics, etc. It's not a study about politics, per se. However, it's typically the case that the vast majority of participants in psychology research studies are politically liberal and we feel it's important for our study to include people from across the spectrum. If you are so inclined, it's an interesting study to participate in - and we do compensate!
*** Must be 18-65 years, living in the USA ***
Researchers at the City University of New York (CUNY) are currently recruiting participants for an IRB-approved study about people's daily thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and physical experiences.
The study will take place ONLINE over a 9-day period. On Day 1, you will be asked to complete surveys about your typical thoughts, feelings, and behaviors (
40 mins). On Days 2-8, you will receive a text message three times per day and asked to follow a link to complete a short set of questions (1 min each). On Day 9, you will be asked to answer several questions about your experiences (10 mins).
Participants will receive payment for each completed assessment, for a total of up to $15 in Amazon gift cards.
Please take the first part on a DESKTOP or LAPTOP computer (it won't work well on your phone!).

I looked at the teacher of the class and see her entire life is based in emotion, so the survey is skewed from its inception.

My wife and I received in the mail, addressed to both of us with our names spelt out on the envelope, also on the letterhead, a survey by Yale/Berkeley titled "MEDIA SURVEY". In that letter was two different login in numbers, one for my wife and the other for me.
The survey was about our opinions of the local TV news, the cable news, and the internet news sites.
My wife and I decided to tackle this survey and see what happens. We decided she take the liberal side and I take the Conservative side. We hit the send buttons when finished and waited to see what happens.
Bingo....since hitting the send buttons on Aug. 5th, 2020 my wife has received two invitations back to take more surveys, whereas, I have not receive one invitation back.
