We hear and see many articles and videos about what will be required before we humans can set up self sufficient, permanent colonies on Mars.  For instance experimenting with various hardy plant life in the equatorial zones.   Another possibility is the discovery of suspected deep fresh water aquifers that marine biological life might be transplanted to.   What of the other forms that, here on Earth, are said by many to be so essential?   What of insects?   Will we be bringing some of those, especially those who specialize in Earth system housekeeping by eating and converting dead bio-waste?   Just wondering.

You just asked if the water will be stocked and if fishing worms are going to be grown.
I dream of the day a chicken can cross the road with out it's motives being questioned.
