This about says it all, seeing how Mozilla uses your video card to do many of the processes, in turn freeing up resources.

I run all three on my XP machine, and Chrome boots in a fraction of the time the others take. In my experience, Firefox is the slowest.

The main problem is Firefox's slow memory leak. On my older laptop, Chrome gives the best performance.
