New Zealand tsunami warning: Alert issued as 10 earthquakes rock Pacific Ocean

TSUNAMI warnings have been put in place for New Zealand, Australia, and some other parts of the Pacific Ocean, after a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit Loyalty Island, New Caledonia, on Wednesday afternoon. Tsunami waves may reach up to one metre tall, and could strike in the next few hours, officials have warned.
