Jokes / Nine Months Later
Last post by Solar - June 29, 2025, 02:24:05 AM

Jack decided to go skiing with his buddy, Bob. So they loaded up Jack's minivan and headed north. After driving for a few hours, they got caught in a terrible blizzard. So they pulled into a nearby farm and asked the attractive lady who answered he door if they could spend the night. "I realize it's terrible weather out there and I have this huge house all to myself, but I'm recently widowed," she explained. "I'm afraid the neighbors will talk if I let you stay in my house."
"Don't worry," Jack said. "We'll be happy to sleep in the barn. And if the weather breaks, we'll be gone at first light." The lady agreed, and the two men found their way to the barn and settled in for the night. Come morning, the weather had cleared, and they got on their way. They enjoyed a great weekend of skiing.
But about nine months later, Jack got an unexpected letter from an attorney. It took him a few minutes to figure it out, but he finally determined that it was from the attorney of that attractive widow he had met on the ski weekend. He dropped in on his friend Bob and asked, "Bob, do you remember that good-looking widow from the farm we stayed at on our ski holiday up north about 9 months ago?"
"Yes, I do." said Bob
"Did you, er, happen to get up in the middle of the night, go up to the house and pay her a visit?"
"Well, um, yes," Bob said, a little embarrassed about being found out "I have to admit that I did."
"And did you happen to use my name instead of telling her your name?"
Bob's face turned beet red and he said, "Yeah, look, I'm sorry, buddy. I'm afraid I did." "Why do you ask?"
"She just died and left me everything."

Quote from: Solar on April 02, 2025, 04:58:42 AMLike all things in life, it has a purpose good or bad, it fits a need.
I develop a product the world needs, but I need a shit ton of money to make it happen, I peddle the idea to a well established industry leader that it would pair well with, so they leak the word that they are promoting the product and their stockholders are excited.

Investors worldwide see the potential, so they invest in the company. My product receives even more funding and it's on its way to the Mkt.
This is the basic Mkt, but like I said all things in life, have a purpose good or bad The product does well, but another company sees it as a threat, so they attempt a hostile takeover to kill it off.

This is why we have monopoly laws, but then Congress has its hands in the cookie jar, so they too, get a cut.
Congress is the parasite feeding off all entities.
We still see the product go to Mkt, but the promise of big returns has been sucked out by so-called "Law Makers".

Point is, the Mkt. is good, those in charge?
This is why I never ever played the rigged game, I knew who else was rigging the game.
Now, if I had another couple of decades in the game, I'd be buying up a ton of copper.
I may not play the game, but I watch growth and recession, and right as we speak, copper is about to go through the roof.
I can easily explain why, but I think everyone here knows what's about to happen.

It's time to invest in copper if you haven't yet.

Jun 27, 2025(Bloomberg) –First Quantum Minerals Ltd. has started shipping stockpiled copper from its stalled mine in Panama, 19 months after the operation was shut down by the country's top court.

A bulk carrier called Lipsi departed on June 18 from Punto Rincon, a private port owned by First Quantum that's used exclusively to ship out mined ores known as concentrate from the Cobre Panama mine, data compiled by Bloomberg showed.

The vessel — which has a cargo capacity of about 35,000 deadweight tons — is carrying concentrate destined for European copper smelter Aurubis AG, according to people familiar with the matter, who asked not to be identified due to its commercially sensitive nature.

The shipment comes after Panama's government last month authorized First Quantum to export about 120,000 tons of copper concentrate inventory that was left stranded in late 2023 when the mine's license was ruled to be unconstitutional, and the vast operation was ordered to shut down.

Revenues from the sales will be used to fund the maintenance of the mothballed operation, while First Quantum continues to lobby for the resumption of operations. Panamanian President Jose Raul Mulino said earlier this month that the slate is now clean to start talks about a potential restart, but warned there's still a long way to go before a deal can be done.

The rest of the stockpile will be shipped to offtake partners in Japan and South Korea over the coming months, the people said.

declined to comment. A spokesperson for Aurubis didn't immediately respond to a phone call and email seeking comment.

The release of the Cobre Panama inventory could provide some relief to copper smelters, which have faced a growing shortage of concentrate since the mine was shut down. Processing fees — a gauge of copper ore availability — have plunged to record lows, prompting smelters in the Philippines and Namibia to shut down and others to dial back output.

The unexpected closure of Cobre Panama, which accounted for 1.5% of global copper output at its peak, sent shock waves through the industry. The incident was a watershed moment during a period of worsening copper supply imbalance due to an expansion of global smelting capacity.

This MIT prof goes into why Iran might have survived this bombing. It is very long. He talks slow.

Prof. Ted Postol on Why No Bomb on Earth Can Destroy Iran's Nuclear Program!

He compares the size of the canister to his Prius. Yes it could have been hauled out if the hatchback was open.

A photo of a canister 2 1/2 feet in diameter. IMO the photo was up close and distorted.

Here he explains how the ventilation tunnels would turn at the bottom, not lead into the production are he labelled "the grand ballroom." Then means would be added to handle the expanding gases. This includes baffles, a large expansion chamber, and a blast door.

He shows the satellites in place over Iran and says that congress should require disclosure of the IR images of the blasts. If most of the  blast blew back out of the entrance hole then that would mean less damage.

CONGRESSMAN KEVIN KILEY'S, "NO TAX DOLLARS FOR RIOTS" legislation,  should be passed immediately. I am hereby instructing my Administration not to pay ANY money to these radicalized groups, regardless of the legislation. They get paid to incite riots, burn down or destroy a city, then come back to the trough to get money to help rebuild it. NO MORE MONEY!!!
