Yes this is a shameless ripoff of Jeff Foxworthy. ;D
You like the idea of a progressive tax rate schedule.
You think Illegal Immigrant is an unfair term, that they are merely "undocumented" workers.
If you think it's embarassing to be lumped in with pro life voters or voters who really believe God exists.
If you think the public schools are doing a great job and nothing should be changed.

You put down supply side economics as silly, but agree whole-heartedly with Robert Reich when he talks about demand side economics. Basically, if you spend it then they will come. :P
You like to go out of your way to talk about how the era of Reagan is over or you like to bemoan how those nasty conservatives are turning the Republican Party into a regional party. :o

Exactly Crepe!
That's the whole point, RINO is a
Republican in name only, they are not true Reps.
The true Rep believes in the Tea party platform of smaller Gov and fiscal Conservatism.
Ye gads, that's what keeps the Republicans from winning more elections. You drive away the people who don't believe exactly like you. I think some of you would have liked goose-stepping along with Hitler in '38 and '39.
You know nothing about people who vote Republican but who aren't the narrow minded conservatives that you are and seem to hang out with.
Keep it up and watch the election and the nation continue it's pathway down the tubes.

Yes! Because RINOs are Dems.
Remember when Newt ran the House, and all the Dims jumped ship to join the Pub party?
That was when the party became watered down with RINO, not Conservative Pubs.
we need to purge the party of these people, we need to return the party to the ideals of Reagan.
I honestly don't think you understand the difference here, a RINO is nothing more that a Dem in the party, granted, they are the Dim of the 60s, but definitely not Reps.
Exactly, they are akin to the southern Democrats of the 70s and 80s who were members of the Democratic party but voted conservatively.
The Republican equivalent is characterized to varying degrees by Lincoln Chaffee, Mike Castle, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, Rudy Gulianni and Scott Brown.
It doesn't make them bad people. And sometimes they are the best we can do. But when offered against a solid conservative in a primary like Castle and O'Donnell, then the choice is clear. ;)
I believe and I could be wrong that Crepe is saying that there seems to be more Rino complaints than actual complaints about democrats...but I also believe that crepe is missing that the democrats being the ultimate enemy is a given...but conservatives are quite unhappy with republicans that dont vote like republicans and give the democrats wins.
Crepes isnt the only one concerned that teaparty candidates who lose will keep democrats in office and defeats the purpose of the election.

Yeah. I hear that argument on MSNBC all the time. Don't let the leftwing press define reality for you. The simple truth is that Republicans are energized mostly because of the Tea Party. 3 million more Republicans participated in primaries this year than Democrats. That's the biggest percentage disparity since 1930. So I contend the Republican races that are close wouldn't even be close if it was more of the same old, same old Democrat-lite policies the establishment Republicans have been shoveling down our throats for decades.

I think you're right, but, there is a but.
We will still win enough seats regardless of of how many RINO we purge.
We could purge all of the RINO from the party and still wield more than enough power to stop the Dims in any venture they undertake.
The question that needs to be asked, is it more important to control both houses, and keep doing business as usual?
Or purge the RINO and return power to the people?
I think it's an obvious answer, the Pub party that Reagan dreamed of is possible.
Crepe, here is the Oath that all Representatives take when entering office, granted nearly all Dims break it, but when a PUB does, he is a RINO, not a Conservative, that is all we want from them, is to follow the oath they swore to.
As required by Article 6 of the U.S. Constitution, Members of Congress shall be bound by oath or affirmation to support the Constitution. Representatives, delegates, and the resident commissioner all take the oath of office on the first day of the new Congress, immediately after the House has elected its Speaker. The Speaker of the House administers the oath of office as follows:
"I, (name of Member), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."

Maybe no one here has called me a RINO, but on the other site we came from, I was called a RINO occasionally. It comes from my absolute hate for people who aren't at least tolerant of another person's political beliefs, particularly between the two major parties. I don't like intolerance of other races, other religions or other people's politics. I'm not talking about arguing about those things. I'm talking about intolerance. Some conservatives are intolerant of RINOs and I don't see that as helpful, particularly during election time, after the primaries are over. We need to pull together, not fight among ourselves. I really was responding in a pent up way. Rather like in a marriage where the wife can pull out everything in her memory cupboard that her husband has ever done wrong and use it (unfairly) in an argument. I really was responding unfairly, at this point, and for that I apologize.
Incidently, if anyone thinks I am a RINO, cool! That's what I am on some things. If people think I'm a conservative, cool to that, too. I'm also that on somethings. I'm also a Gemini. I'm nothing abut a Republican through and through. Well, that and an Episcopalian.
Kind of like the way people are so intolerant of Tea Party folk. We have been called racists, nazis, loons, rubes, paid operatives of billionaires. Heck, we've been called everything except children of God at one point or another.
Where is the tolerance for O'Donnell? Look at how the Delaware Republican Party and the Mike Castle camp still treat this poor woman who did win the Republican primary in that state.
Tolerance is a two way street. Just like respect and support. For years we swallowed our beliefs for the good of the party and backed the establishment candidates. Now the shoe is on the other foot and they refuse to give us the same consideration they demanded for so long. Well excuse us for being a little POed about it. ;)

Okay whatever you say. Purge us. Kill us. What the heck. We seem to be the bane of your existence. Forget the dems. Who needs them to argue with. Argh!!!!! The stupidity of it all.
RINOs used to be called moderate Republicans. It was way before Newt. We've been around for a long time. It's only since the Conservatives got to be so blastedly intolerant and superior that the name RINO came about. It used to be in the day, that Repbulcians courted all sorts of voters. They wanted to be elected so that they could possibly decide the course of history. Now it seems all that you "true conservatives" want to do is set the party up so that only conservatives, and "true conservatives" at that, vote for the party. Okay, try it. See how well it works for you.
Now, I'm off to fold the stuff in the dryer and have some lunch and bring some sanity back into my life. Conservatives, schmervatives! ;) :D

Oh crap. I can't believe that this caught my attention before the dryer and lunch. RINOs follow that oath as much as any other person, conservative, liberal or moderate dem or libertarian, Independent, and whomever. Jeeze Louise, where do you get the idea that they don't more so than any other elected official? My thought is that they're all equally deficient in that department. They're all jerks .
Crepe05, why are you going out of your way to act insulted or attacked by us despite our best efforts to the contrary. No one here is trying to pick a fight except you. No one here sees where your positions make you a RINO except you.
I'm starting to wonder if you're just messing with us for the fun of it. Because this just doesn't make a lick of sense. ???
Crepe05, the only difference between a RINO and a Democrat is that a Democrat ADMITS to being a Democrat.
RINOS are worse than Democrats, because they are political prostitutes who sell their votes to the highest bidder.
RINOS are liars. RINOS are chameleons. RINOS have no core values or core beliefs.
Even Democrats have core beliefs. They are just screwed up and shortsighted beliefs.
Democrats believe in big government, equality of results, and suspension of individual liberties.
We really don't know what RINOS believe in, and that's why they are at least equally as dangerous to this country as Democrats are.

Thanks AF, you just saved me from having to post a long winded explanation of why we need to purge RINO. 8)
And I think part of the annoyance with RINOs comes from the fact that the Republican Party has said one thing and done another for so long that we conservatives no longer felt like it was a reliable advocate of our beliefs. We're tired of being lied to. We're tired of being condescended. We're tired of being marginalized.
And so please forgive us for coming out swinging in a season when we are called Nazis, loons, racists, etc. And please forgive us for feeling betrayed when establishment Republicans do not offer us the same support in a general election that they would demand from us if they had won.
We just must be bad people for not passively accepting whatever is imposed upon us. ;D ;D ;D

Nope, not messing with you. I'm just tired of hearing the "true conservatives" knock people within their party who really will vote for them. I just don't get it. Face it. "True conservatives" need other Republicans to vote for them just as other Republicans need "true conservatives" to vote for them against the dems. I'm tired of hearing so much about the evil RINOs. I've been called a RINO, not on this board. I really don't care if anyone here thinks I'm a conservative (true or not) or a Rino or even a dem. It just doesn't serve our party (the Republican one) to have so much name calling within the party. Instead of doing that, "true conservatives" should try to convince the voters to vote for them, not try to drive people out of the party. It just doesn't make sense and it does remind me so much of the Hitler regime and wanting "purity". I go nutso with that kind of talk. There has to be room for all of us in the party or the party will go nowhere.
I really don't care at this point what a RINO is in the eyes of the "true conservative". I care about how they (the true conservative), plans to get people to vote for the Republican candidate, or is it another election that goes to the dems. Focus on getting out the vote, not purging the durned party. Argh!
We don't care what you believe. You can be a RINO, a conservative or a liberal. You can be an independent, an anarchist or you can even support Ron Paul. Heck me and Solar were just saying we wished we had more liberals on this site. Differences are what make these things fun. Having a bunch of people who all agree with you sitting around saying "yup" would be boring.
But here is my problem Crepe05.
1. You haven't articulated any positions where you differ materially from conservatives. So it's hard to see where you disagree with us on issues.
2. You go out of your way again and again and again and again to say that conservatives aren't nice enough to RINOs, yet you haven't answered a single assertion on my part or on Solar's that RINOs are the ones attacking conservatives. When a RINO attacks a conservative or fails to support them, that doesn't seem to bother you. I don't know why.
3. You claim we don't go after Democrats. Really? All I can imagine is that you don't read the newspapers, listen to the radio or watch TV. Otherwise your comments just don't make much sense.
Crepe05, our problem isn't with your beliefs. It's with your poorly constructed arguments that make it hard for us to tell what you believe and what is actually bothering you.

I agree totally Dan, and let me expand on your questions.
Crepe, can you give an example of a RINO that you feel is being maligned, that you agree with.
Like say when McCain agreed with the global warming crap, or something along those lines.
It's like she supports the Republicans who agree with her stated beliefs and rather intensely dislikes those who support her stated beliefs.
She is either very confused or a joker who didn't do a good job of setting up their fake persona.
