Gotta love the way these liberal freaks rebrand their guilty pleasures to make themselves stand above the rest. Take an example from this crazy lady she rebrands "deadbeat" to "strike".......

Also, I loved it when Big Chief Liz Warren got caught with her mouth open when asked the question do I get repaid for paying for a student loan....

Why people with student debt are refusing to repay it

Sandy Nurse doesn't see why she needs to be $120,000 in debt "just for trying to improve my understanding of the world."

And so, after a decade of struggling to repay her student loans, she plans to stop trying. She hopes others will join her, too, in a national strike against the country's outstanding student loan debt, which is marching toward $1.7 trillion.

To put this as nicely as I can, they don't pay their student debt because they are cheap screws who are not a
positive entity for our nation.

I would think more will refuse to pay because they believe eventually the student will be pushed off  on the taxpayer.

This really pisses me off.

My son had more fun than I could stand at one university. He then transferred and changed his major. He told me he would pay for that. And for the most part he did by working and student loans. He worked diligently and paid back his student loans. I am sure there are many like him. So forgiveness truly goes against my grain.

And when these dead beats get tired of paying the mortgage on their house, are they going to stop paying that too? Why not their car payment? Credit cards?  :cursing: :cursing: :cursing: :cursing:

I think today's younger generations have a warped sense of entitlement. They have zero sense of personal responsibility and accountability. The problem is magnified when you have the likes of Bernie Sanders and Pocahontas promising free everything.

I'm an idiot. I paid back nearly 6 figures and all I had to do is vote for a communist.

I think these kids are in for a huge shock when they discover, there are no do overs or bailouts in life.

Or when the IRS comes knocking.

The kids are to blame but so is the government. The government makes it so easy to get a student loan regardless of major. And, with the loans guaranteed by the government the banks get their money and the schools get their tuition which allows them to charge whatever they want because the money is guaranteed.

There's no student loan crisis. You or your dopey parents borrowed. Pay it back. What about the working slob who broke his or her ass to put their kids through college. They getting a refund?   Look up the video of the father who confronted Warren.  She laughed at him.  POS

When my youngest son went to college, his dad and I had already divorced.  He had to get a job and work his way through college,  He then paid off the student loans through a payment plan.  His wife did the same thing.  They've now been married over 20 years and are paying off any other loans that they may have accrued over the years, just like the big people do.

No, no refund for them.  Heck, we taxpayers would have to pay for that, too.

Aside from being unfair to those who paid their way, which is the main reason for opposing student loan forgiveness, I have a slightly offbeat view of higher education.

I see it as a commodity like any other. You want the custom made one or the higher quality item, then pay for it. Otherwise take the less expensive one that's on the shelf that you can afford. JHMO

For some reason I can't modify my above post so I just add it here.

It like a car. You can by the Benz or the Chevy. Both will get you where you want to go.
