Unless Trump asked the Ukraine to frame the Bidens, then the investigation would not benefit Trump or his campaign.

If the Bidens did nothing as the Democrats claim then Trump had nothing to gain and therefore no bribery. The Bidens had nothing to fear with an investigation.
It cannot even be called an attempted bribery charge when talking about the angelic Bidens.

I suppose that just the notion of there being an investigation would have been politically advantageous. People say that Hillary being under investigation and the emails is what ended up costing her the election.

As a matter of fact, the Ukrainians said that in the audio recording that Glenn Beck played the other day.

You do know that the President of Ukraine was helping Hillary, Right? That's what this is all about, the left is in a panic that the truth will come out before they can Impeach Trump, which they will fail miserably at.

That is the root of the question. How can they claim intent other than to admit that investigations themselves are damaging and often used as fishing expeditions. The Democrats are saying their intent is clean but that they can read Trump's mind.
Obama himself should be the defendent if we can assume intent when investigating someone in the other party.
