Ford's been building cars and parts in Mexico for MANY years.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Chrysler is now owned by Fiat, which is an Italian car company?

Thought Fiat backed out of the deal or had them up for sale.

BTW, the Dodge PUs have been assembled in Mexico for years. Why I didn't buy one.

The Cummins diesel is still built in the US.
If you're buying a gas powered truck and not a diesel, you're buying a car with a bed on it.

The simple solution is; don't buy Chrysler Products. I had one, never again.

Not to worry, Ill never own another chrysler product, I owned one and I spent most of my time at the dealer getting it fixed on warranty...what a pos

Just for the record, Chrysler is now operated by Fiat, and several hundred Chrysler dealerships are going to start also selling Fiat automobiles.  Fiat has previously not sold cars in the USA for many years.

Chrysler/Fiat owes the U.S. and Canadian governments over $7 billion in loans, too.

Thanks Chrysler for keeping at least a few thousand Mexicans from crossing our borders illegally.

Maybe Americans will start entering Mexico illegally to seek employment at the new Mexican Chrysler plant?   :o

So we can rename the auto bailout and now call it Obama's Mexican Stimulus Program. I wonder how many Mexican jobs Obama now claims to have either saved or created?
If you believe big government is the solution then you are a liberal. If you believe big government is the problem then you are a conservative.

Yeppers. I had a '94 Concorde. Beautiful car, great ride and handling. Spent more time at the dealer getting warranty work done than driving it. Finally after Tranny problems, Air Conditioner Problems, and it getting long in the tooth when we left for Rita, we bought the Lexus. Probably the last car we'll own.
