Part of the American Dream has been to work and struggle and sacrifice to send our children to college. In many cases this has been so our children will have a better chance at success than we have had. Unfortunately, what passes for Higher Education these days, amounts to an indoctrination into why our system has to CHANGE and how much fairer a communist system of goverment, economy and society actually is, than the evil empire we have in America.
It's a very persuaive argument for people (kids) who have never worked in the real world, often taught by Teachers who have never actually worked in the real world.
Here's a great example of a very compelling pitch advocating Marxism over Capitalism. (ridiculing individual Liberty and Mobility). Kids are bing indoctrinated at our expense...and that's far more costly than tuition, books and room & board that parents pay for. The real price is the destruction of the America we want our children to inherit. They will become part of the machinery that advoctes the CHANGE to Marxism at the expense of Freedom and Liberty!

The Teachers in the lower grades have had the marxist, antiAmerican, anticapitalism indoctrination while they sat in th college and university seats their parents paid for. It sure is ironic, that those who built our country into the envy of the world (the snining city on the hill) worked their entire lives to send their children off to these colleges and university, only to have them emerge as brainwashed Liberals who themselves are brrainwashing the next generation of Liberals (would be Marxists).
No matter that Communism has murder more than 200 million people and those who forget their history are doomed to relive it! Everywhere communism has ever taken hold, their has been the same propaganda of lies and the eventual betrayal of all those but the chosen Elites! It criticizes the status quo and promises a utopia but has never delivered because it is all based on lies, distortion and manipulation...HOPE...CHANGE...BELIEVE!
