Title: Whatever happened to living within your means?
Post by: Dan on October 12, 2010, 12:29:52 PM
People want to by houses they cannot afford and then have you and me pay for them.

People want to offload the cost of their children's health insurance to you and me and then buy new cars every 2 years and take nice vacations.

People want to have other people pay the taxes that support the benefits they refuse to do without.

People want to run up massive credit card bills and then discharge them in bankruptcy.

Whatever happened to standing on your own two feet and living within your means?

Government sure doesn't, nor do they abide by the rule of law so why should anyone else?

One word, Victim.
The left has created a class of victims.
They believe that all big business is bad and should be punished.
While on the Right, we know we are becoming victims of Big Gov, but that's about to change. 8)

Everyone wants to own a home and when the criteria to be approved for mortgages went out the window...everyone that couldnt afford a house before went bonkers...and then got a rude awakening...I have pay X amt every single month. Then the job market crashed, people getting laid off...then here were are with a foreclosure meltdown.
Credit cards and general credit...they are always throwing it in your face...most americans have been inundated with credit offers over so many years its like were not really spending money are we ? money hardly changes hands anymore...pop the plastic sign your name...
I have empathy for people that have always worked and paid their way...that lost their long time jobs and have been unable to find one for two years....the ones that never worked or made the attempt..pfffffffffft
