Go out with someone who owns one and is proficient, then challenge them to a target match at 50 feet, they'll blow you out of the water.
The point is to stop your assailant at close range without having to aim, that is what a shotgun can accomplish.
I never aim anymore, I can fire from the hip at 100' center mass 9 out of 10 times. Practice makes perfect.

The advantage of a shotgun is the lead projectiles which you can "bounce" or skip off the pavement or cement, depending on the angle. You could take out several attackers legs if you angled it just right or if they were hiding behind a vehicle it would be possible to bounce the rounds under the vehicle and reach their legs or feet. Also possible to do the same if the person is barricaded or partial target behind the side of a wall. The there is the use of a rifled slug which is devestating up to 100 yards. A little practice with such techique should show you the possibilities. These high velocity rouds 223 etc are going to shatter if used similarly. A shotgun is ideal for urban combat. But always have a sidearm for back up.

All five Democrat supervisors attended the meeting, but the board's three Republican members were not notified of the meeting and did not attend. The individual who chairs the Citizen's Advisory Board is the husband of one of the Democrat supervisors.
As explained in the lawsuit, the Democrat supervisors violated Virginia's Freedom of Information Act/open meeting law by holding a meeting in secret, without notice to any Republican supervisor nor advance notice to the public as required by law. Virginia law prohibits any gathering of two or more members of the same public body if public business is transacted or discussed. While no votes were cast during the meeting, the Democrat members posed questions and provided directives to the police leadership to curtail the use of crowd control measures in future disturbances. Police Arrest Man After He Sets Fire to Patrol Car

Around 1:30 PM, an officer was in their patrol vehicle in an alley between Dexter Avenue and John Street looking for a man who was reportedly brandishing a flaming piece of lumber.
The officer found the man, who threw the flaming lumber—believed to be a 2×2—into the patrol vehicle while the officer was still inside.
Additional responding officers chased the man into a parking garage where they deployed a taser and took him into custody.
One officer is believed to have discharged a firearm during the incident. The suspect was not struck.
Additionally, as officers were arresting the man, the flames from the burning lumber engulfed the entire patrol vehicle.
One officer was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening burns.
Officers are also checking surrounding buildings in the area to ensure no one else was injured in the incident.
The Seattle Police Department's Force Investigation Team is on scene conducting interviews and gathering evidence.

Since our original article, we have received additional information from our sources, who tell us that Schmidt DID initiate the call, then called Vasquez and told HIM to call the Portland Police Bureau to respond to his home after he refused to do so himself.
Why? Because Schmidt himself has refused to prosecute similar cases and he didn't want to be outed as the hypocrite that he is. Schmidt is a typical liberal..."good for thee, but not for me."
Our source said that when Vazquez called, the situation was likely referred to a supervisor, sergeant or above, who made the call to handle the incident at "precinct level" as opposed to sending in the Rapid Response Team (RRT) which it protocol for so-called riots.
The information we received is that Schmidt was trying to make it appear to be right-wing extremists because that fits into his narrative. He needed the police to respond to his home, but didn't want to be outed as a hypocrite.

We also found out through KXL in Portland that Multnomah County has referred to cases for criminal prosecution relative to riots that occurred post-election on Nov. 4 in the city. The two individuals charged included Luke Harrah, a self-described "traveling protester" who had only been in the city for a few days, court documents said. He was charged with one count of criminal mischief in the first degree and two counts of criminal mischief in the second degree.
The second, Jarrod DeFerrari is from Sunrise, Florida and was charged with one count of riot and two counts of criminal justice in the second degree.
With that in mind, does anyone think it is outside the realm of probability or possibility that it was in fact Antifa or some other far-left group who was protesting in front of Schmidt's house, for having the audacity to prosecute far-left loons likely affiliated in some manner with Antifa or other anarchist group? We don't.
While it doesn't fit the typical Antifa narrative of showing up in a huge gang because they're typically afraid to show up one on one or in small groups, is it possible that one of these far-left groups may have assumed the identity of the Proud Boys or other such group? We say it is.

Window falls during attempted burglary, fatally strangling
Hernandez was reportedly discovered dangling from the window, already deceased at the time of his discovery.
The tenants of the home affirmed that the window Hernandez allegedly tried to break into the home through was notorious for having a faulty spring that seemed to violently slam down on his neck.
Records indicate that Hernandez was previously convicted for grand theft back in 2018.
When commenting in the bizarre case and death, Security Specialist Rich Kolko noted that less attention should be garnered around the suspect's death and more so around the act he was allegedly attempting to commit.
The fiancée of the deceased, Patricia Duarte, acknowledged that Hernandez carried the look of a convicted felon – but swore that he was of decent moral character:
"When I first met him, I was like man he looks like he has a rap sheet like El Chapo. And he's the complete opposite of that. He's the sweetest person you'd probably ever meet and has the biggest heart."
Duarte believes that there's something not right about her fiancée's death, proclaiming that she wants a "proper investigation" to ensue regarding Hernandez's death:
"Soon as I got there I'm like, there's no way. This isn't what happened."

Memorandum on Inadmissibility of Persons Affiliated with Antifa Based on Organized Criminal Activity

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. Purpose. One of the fundamental purposes of our Government is to ensure the safety of our citizens. Consistent with the purpose of creating peaceful and prosperous communities, Federal law ensures immigration benefits may be granted only to those individuals who will follow the laws that govern all United States citizens. Accordingly, section 212(a)(3) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), 8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(3), renders inadmissible aliens who have engaged or who are likely to engage in terrorist activity and those aliens who seek entry into the United States to engage, principally or incidentally, in unlawful activity. Active membership in a criminal association is relevant to the determination of whether an applicant for a visa or other immigration benefit is seeking to enter the United States to engage in unlawful activity. Accordingly, law enforcement organizations, including the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security, should continue to provide the Department of State with current information appropriate for updating the list of criminal organizations in the Foreign Affairs Manual at 9 FAM 302.5-4(B)(2). This information should include assessments of whether aliens involved with such associations pose a threat to the safety of our communities.
In particular, reliable reporting suggests that the movement known as Antifa is directly or indirectly responsible for some of the recent lawlessness in our communities, and has exploited tragedies to advance a radical, leftist, anarchist, and often violent agenda. In fact, Antifa has long used otherwise permissible demonstrations to engage in lawless, criminal behavior to further its radical agenda.
Between February and August 2017, during a series of protests in Berkeley, California, Antifa protesters physically assaulted several individuals and caused significant property damage. Specifically, reports indicate that during the August 27, 2017, protest, black-clad Antifa protestors viciously attacked a rally, including targeting at least one person because of his conservative political beliefs. These protests resulted in 13 arrests on a range of charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and obstructing a police officer. During the demonstrations on February 1, 2017, 150 black-clad agitators contributed to an estimated $100,000 worth of property damage in Berkeley. Separately, on June 29, 2019, individuals affiliated with Antifa physically attacked conservative journalist Andy Ngo while he was covering demonstrations in Portland, Oregon, leaving him hospitalized.
Those affiliated with Antifa have also repeatedly threatened violence, including against law enforcement officers. For instance, in June 2018, a Twitter account linked to Antifa shared the names of more than 1,500 Immigration and Customs Enforcement employees, leading others to track and publicly post some employees' social media profiles, phone numbers, and home addresses, which, as intended, resulted in the employees being harassed.
In late September of 2020, individuals in a moving truck distributed riot equipment — including shields, masks, and a sign emblazoned with an Antifa symbol — in Louisville, Kentucky, before riots ensued there. Hours later, the violent situation resulted in the shooting of two police officers. And on October 5, 2020, reported Antifa activists in Portland were captured on video attacking a woman carrying an American flag.
The Department of Justice has already publicly confirmed that actions by Antifa and similar groups meet the standard for domestic terrorism.
The violence spurred on by Antifa — such as hurling projectiles and incendiary devices at police, burning vehicles, and violently confronting police in defiance of local curfews — is dangerous to human life and to the fabric of our Nation. These violent acts undermine the rights of peaceful protestors and destroy the lives, liberty, and property of the people of this Nation, especially those most vulnerable.
Sec. 2. Inadmissibility of Antifa Associates Based on Terrorist and Unlawful Activity. (a) The Secretary of State shall, in consultation with the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security, review information received from the Department of Justice and other authorities to assess whether to classify Antifa as a terrorist organization under section 1182(a)(3)(B)(vi) of title 8, United States Code.
(b) The Secretary of State shall take all appropriate steps, in consultation with the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security, to consider listing Antifa in 9 FAM 302.5-4(B)(2)(U) Aliens Who Are Members of an Identified Criminal Organization.
Sec. 3. General Provisions. (a) Nothing in this memorandum shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:
(i) the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or
(ii) the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.
(b) This memorandum shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.
(c) This memorandum is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.
