It isn't a law, merely a strengthening of what she believes.

There is nothing in the Pledge about banning Pornography. In fact it is only one small phrase in one of the 14 points.

This news report is an effort to make Bachman look like a rabid far, far right dingbat. You cannot rely on the Main stream Media / Press for anything.

Good find Cyborg, it refers to children in regards to pornography, not porn in general.

She has, she has made it more than clear she is against open borders.
I have no problem with her signing the pledge, I'd sign it myself, but I'm not in office, though I do adhere to all that is in it.

That's true - but that doesn't mean it can't be diminished and put partly back in the bag.  Many people don't know it, but at present the TV networks could legally show the most explicit hard core pornography on any prime time channel at any hour morning, noon, evening or night.

I look at it differently - like the question is the glass half full or half empty.
The government has destroyed every vestige of morality in public schools and left it vacant. It has been replaced not by morality but by political ideological dictatorships.

There is no longer much moral compass coming from one's family. The family is rapidly being made impotent!

It seems to me that the Pledge seeks more to re-establish and protect the power of families. It isn't primairly about morality. Though I think some morality needs desperately to be put back into society and societal interaction.
