Several good points and definitely from a perspective few can relate to. I get the point everyone should love their body etc. But I wished the point, why do I have to accept it, was discussed. Somewhere in all the discussions about people's rights, their own body (that someone else will pay to change) should be the reality that whatever changes are made to their body, you can not change society. Calling society bigots and raciest will not change society.
I do agree with many medical research papers that this is a mental illness, so why does nobody discuss treating like such? This author at least hit on the reason it is treated like it is, money. But there is far more to the trans movement, such as drag queens, that consist of a large group of no moral pedophiles. It is going to take people such as this author to address that, or society is going to just lump them all in together.
The dangers facing the author, her future, need to get out. This should be taught in schools, as liberals have got the word out that not only is this every child's right, but happiness, unicorns and rainbows exist afterwards. I commend the author for being brave enough to get the truth out. I do hope the author finds what has eluded her.
There is always dicussion of man transitioning into "woman", yet we seem to set forget about woman transitioning into "man". Maybe there needs to be an opposite question:
"What is A Woman?"
"What Is A Man?"
"an adult human female"
"an adult human male"
I also believe there should be a secondary discussion of those two genders/sex, that get into the makes a woman/man a woman/man not in the sense of not gender or sex. A man takes care of his responsibilties/a woman takes care of her responsibilities.
