Alright, so what has this got to do with tomorrow and repairing the damage done? If you think you can wave a magic wand and erase what has been, well, I dont know what to tell you, except to drive on.

Growing up, I knew people here and there who obsessed about JFKs assassination for the better part of their lives. I think people are motivated enough. The last two midterms have shown that, by people fighting the good fight where the battle is actually taking place. Its good you know your enemy. Now you have to recognize they had the initiative and chose the ground. So if you want to fight them, you have to take it to them. Loathe them, hate them, whatever you need to do, but go get some. They arent coming to your soap box.
Whatever you know or believe you know about President Obamas background doesnt matter. He was, and thankfully for only a little while longer, is the president, and thats not going to change. I believe you're both right. I like your point about a new battlefield, not that anything really changed, just that the enemy has been exposed, and the enemy is us.
We've been duped into fighting against our own best interests by the very people we thought Represented our interests.
That's how I see the battle field changed, we're now fighting on two fronts, the original leftists enemy and now, the enemy within.

The difference now, is we have a well defined enemy, Both Party's, and we're seizing one of them for our own.

Radical Republicans refined and codified judicial activism, and social engineering during Reconstruction, and those tactics would inspire Theodore Roosevelts thinking when establishing his Progressive Party. Those Republicans never went away, and though not as tyrannical and transformative as the Democrats who are more militant in pursuing anti-constitutional ideology, they are anti-libertarian enough to cause a permanent rift between the elite and the base. So they are always the first hurdle, and a pretty significant one these days as we are in dire need of some minarchism.
Meanwhile, other than his contraversial vetting (or lack thereof) Obama isnt that remarkable. While certainly the closest thing to a Manchurian Candidate as weve probably had, he isnt unique in any real sense. Weve had executive tyrants before. Andrew Jackson, the first godfather of the Democrat Party was virtually a military dictator. Woodrow Wilson transformed the Republic more than Obama could ever dream with the 16th and 17th amendments which would give DC unlimited and unaccountable power of the purse and begin the marginalizing of state government. FDR almost restructured SCOTUS itself to empower his machinations and like Barry governed primarily through a huge collective of czars backed by executive order. So taken as a whole, Obama is just a manufactured caricature of a variety of greater personalities. His being an inexperienced straw man saved us more trouble than is generally realized. Had Obama been Hillary, we would be truly living in a different world today.

That has absolutely no relevance to me.  I am bringing up a black and white issue.  Fact: his "birth certificate" is a forgery.  Not just a forgery, but a very, very bad one.  I've never thought beyond that.  To my way of thinking, people need to understand his doc was forged first before contemplating anything else.  If you are not willing to research the issue, and inform others when the topic comes up, then I have a hard time understanding that.
