You'd think they'd have learned their lesson 40 years ago.

In 1974, Time Magazine blamed the cold polar vortex on global cooling.

'Scientists have found other indications of global cooling. For one thing there has been a noticeable expansion of the great belt of dry, high-altitude polar winds —the so-called circumpolar vortex—that sweep from west to east around the top and bottom of the world.'

    Another Ice Age? – TIME

Forty years later, Time Magazine blames the cold polar vortex on global warming

'But not only does the cold spell not disprove climate change, it may well be that global warming could be making the occasional bout of extreme cold weather in the U.S. even more likely. Right now much of the U.S. is in the grip of a polar vortex, which is pretty much what it sounds like: a whirlwind of extremely cold, extremely dense air that forms near the poles.'

Deftly presented.  The GW-spinners will most likely cut their losses and ignore both articles, though every fibre of their being yearns to trumpet the newest one.

Nicely done!
It never ceases to amaze me how many times these Liberal writers contradict themselves.  It's as if they think we have no access to any information before the year 2014!
It also amuses me how many different facts they have to make up in order to explain the obvious contradictions (like re-naming it climate change).

I asked a lib to show me where they had gotten one prediction right, so he posted one, but failed to recognize it was one of dozens spanning the board from a deep freeze to baking temps all in the same paper.
In other words, flinging shit to see what sticks.

These idiots covered all their bases, and if someone is so stupid as to believe the IPCC has our best interests in mind, only needs to read marx.

40 years ago Time magazine was about a half an inch thick Now you can fit on in letter envelope.
