What I find disturbing, is the fact that some police are willing to follow orders. Shoot to kill will come easy for some, and when that happens, society collapses.

The police departments that existed when we were growing up would not have enforced it, but then again, no mayor or governor would have shown such a power grab as what we see today. I guess as the city councils became more socialist, they hired police chiefs that were more socialist who then hired officers who fit the bill. I used to think a police force would never go against the constitution and confiscate weapons, but I can not be so sure today. Councils hang funding over the chiefs head to get what they want. And it damn sure is not the will of the people.

I agree, police of the past would never have acted like this, but with more college indoctrination, these ideologues are joining others of their ilk willing to enforce Draconian laws.
