OK, it didnt. Just making an observation that politicians, especially dog crap like McCain, dont contribute anything to making anything better. Looking back at his well deserved funeral the media made him out to be some kind of God as they often do with the ones they love. He is rotting in the ground and nothing he did as a politician means anything to anyone.
One notable ting did change, the RINO in the party shifted, anyway, a few notable like Lindsey Grahmnesty became a Trump supporter.
McCon changed his tune as well as others allowing Trump more leeway on his agenda.
Good point.
Well, if we are to honest the RINOS have taken a bit of hit...

A long and sordid career of arrogance and incompetence.

Tribalism blinds people. John McCain may not have been perfect but his honesty and accomplishments far exceed any republican in office today. McCain served the nation, can one say that about draft dodger Trump? Trump uses the nation for personal embellishment and he uses the presidency for personal gain. Weak, insecure men who hide behind privilege and our freedoms are sad humans.

Just a note. This thread is about McCain, not Trump. You are showing symptoms of TDS.

How has he gained personally???? He does not even get a paycheck for being president, he donates it! I'm sure you can back that up.

Stain was a traitor, he was also a war monger, and one of the drivers pushing Bush to go to war in Iraq to enrich Stains benefactors, but I guess you libs overlook the real damage done by these RINO because it doesn't fit your narrative.
But prove Trump gains from the presidency, if anything, we all gain from what he has done so far and he's only a quarter of his way through his terms in office.
Are you in denial this is the best economy in history, the lowest unemployment rates ever?

Tribalism my blind people yet so does ignorance of reality.
John McCain was not a bad person nor was he a hero of any magnitude.
He was a graduate of Annapolis who flew planes and 3 incidents stand out:
* In 1960 he crashed his Skyscraper into Corpus Christi Bay, Texas.
* In 1962 he flew his Jet into regional power lines in southeastern Spain.
* in 1965 he crashed his Buckeye into Chesapeake Bay, Virginia.
The Naval Board that investigated these, blamed pilot error as the major
cause for each crash. So how did McCain's career survive these???
Because his Grand-Father was a 4-Star Admiral who had been an aide to
Douglas MacArthur, the Pacific Commander in WW 2 and his Father was
a 3-Star Admiral, that's why.
As for Viet-Nam, or any war for that matter, POW's are hardly heroes;
rather they are unfortunate casualties of war; a reality that pre-dates
Julius Caesar.

Let's not forget the USS Forrestal Fire. Oddly enough witnesses stated it was the Stain that started it by pulling a prank and wet starting his engine. The Navy covered it up by claiming a rocket misfired on another jet, yet when you do a deep search, there was never one mention of the pilot that fired it, or as they claim, it was an electrical malfunction caused it to fire, yet still, not one mention of who the pilot was.
Just another cover up by daddy.

I have sailed with the Forrestal, and have met many who served on her including a couple who were aboard during the fire. I have never heard this tale, even with McCain being well-known at the time. I do not believe it, period.

Eye witnesses would beg to differ. Look it up.
