They could borrow money for Hillary.

He too knows there's no return on investment, the party is dead and soon to be out of power for decades and knows quite well, he'll be long dead before they even begin to recover.

I'm too lazy to investigate, but I imagine several Dem superPACS are suffering the same fate.  Don't lease a modest store-front in a stripmall as an HQ...  Lease an 'attractive' building-space with a bloated overhead.

The DNC has been bankrupt for a very long time. Morally, bankrupt that is. It was only a matter of time before the financial bankruptcy came along.

It's just the DNC, not the candidates Hillary has ~$32M on hand to Cruz's $13M - and that doesn't include the superpacs, you count those and Jeb is #1 with hillary behind him.

A lack of DNC money will hurt the democratic candidates for lesser offices more than it will affect the presidential race, especially the lesser known ones, since they rely on DNC money more.
