One of my fondest daydreams is that after my inauguration, I announce that today is the last day any White House media pass will be honored at the gates, and that everyone must re-apply by registered mail to a written address nobody's ever heard-of. Then when the New York Times and others start to apply, reject the incumbent press people and approve anyone who's new.

Mandatory turn-over in those covering our government is as necessary to avoidance of bias as is our mandatory turn-over of those that media covers. Entrenched agenda-driven trash is not informing our public. New blood is needed to correct that damage.
