Title: Thanks to Romney Obamao is considering extending tax cuts
Post by: BILLY Defiant on July 09, 2012, 09:17:24 PM
That how I see it, Romney has been making such an issue out of the lousy economy, Obamocaretax and lack of tax reform, Hussein knows he beter do something...so he is going to extend the Bush era tax cuts...big deal. I doubt that will save him, the jobs report alone sinks his baot....but does anyone doubt that Hussein changed his tune from the earlier party line of TAx the Rich tax the rich tax the rich and everything will be fine....

So if these cuts go thru, Romney(and the vocal GOP)  have already
been beneficial to the middle class by browbeating Hussein into this decision...win or lose.

If we had a real Speaker of the House, he would offer Obama the follow deal.

Make the "Middle Class" Bush era tax cuts PERMANENT and he can raise taxes on people who make over $2 million a year back to the Clinton era tax rates - for 5 years.

That is, IF we had a Speaker of the House with a backbone!

*sigh*

Obama's back to his same old talking points. Extend the cuts for the middle class, and end them for everyone that makes over 200K a year.

There's one real big problem with that approach, and one that Barry doesn't mention..................................it's 200K gross. I know lots of people that only net around 50K a year, but run 250K through their bank accounts in the course of their business. This will wipe out many small business owners that are already struggling to stay afloat.

Obama isn't Robin Hood...............................he's just a punk robber without a gun.

You know who often makes $250,000 a year? How about two public workers who are married. Say a police office married to an EPA lawyer, who file jointly. He may not  - and doesn't give a damn - about small business, but public workers are part of his base. BTW, if I were the GOP, I'd write a tax law that has some outrageous rate on "unearned income" - like from acting, for example. The power to tax is the power to destroy. Let all the Hollyweird types know there's cost involved in supporting the Dems.

So he's going to extend them for everyone, even those making over 250 grand? That won't make his OWS crowd very happy.

Obama must be desperate if he brings up raising taxes 119 days before the election.

Of course he is desperate.  He can't run on his record, so he is playing the class warfare gig to the hilt.
