The LNF poster now calling himself Truth (aka Gigglefarts to you hard cores) is probably NOT the vile Ricky. You're correct: Condotierre is Ricky, aka Darwinist (the earliest and longest-running name for that bowel-waste). I mistakenly forgot to add that Ricky would probably get tipped off to this place via "Truth." (That or some other mental firefly-trying-to-light-an-airport.)

My overall INTENDED original point is, once Darwinist finds people to seriously irritate, you'll have him here forever.

I've waged more wars with Darwinist than with any other LNF troll, over what's now roughly a six-year chunk out of the last eight years. He's a bad bloodstain on a white shag rug --- a raw oozing pus-filled wound that refuses to let itself be healed. I know his writing style, know his tactics, know his worthlessness, and never under ANY circumstances will I forget that essentially, Darwinist shares the same broken personality as does Rob Larrikin.

Naturally, that opens this up to a broader subject of trolls and how to deal with them. I speak as a former admin myself over two opinion blogs, where LNF trolls pursued me and waged constant battles there.

Any good opinion forum will likely offer a broad spectrum of opinion. Under most circumstances, the conservative forums do tend to offer more POLITE exchanges than do the foulmouthed spew at many leftist sites. Ricky works differently, acid burning through titanium armor, always through sock-puppets and very rarely with anything that can get his main-identity's posts "removed-for-cause." He is relentless, but he's also predictable.

Darwinist/Ricky was LNF admin's single greatest tactical error EVER, in my time at that forum. Desperate for page-hits and people clicking on ads --- against the pleas of myself and MANY other members, he decided to let Ricky remain.

This isn't exactly news. He's heard me say it before. When you rely more on controversy (rather than on maintaining good order), then as a site admin you really shouldn't be surprised when people get tired of that one-sidedness, and concurrent non-responsiveness to OTHER members.

I didn't care then and don't care now for being deliberated pitted against someone for the sake of boosting page-hits. I've said so on public LNF boards before, so I'm not concerned saying it here as well. That gladiator mentality is NOT conducive toward building trust with your own membership, at ANY forum --- not just LNF or here.

Yes, this started out in fun talking about inviting the brainless twits in here, to bash hell out of when we get bored. (I myself like bashing twits just as much as the next internet thug and moral degenerate, so don't get me wrong there!)

You want to troll for trolls, and invite them in? I say, let them find you, with creative front-loading of your meta-data section of your .INDEX page, adding specific keywords intended to hike your presence in Google or Bing searches. (Get into Bing and you've got the Microsoft-lovers.)

It's just that I feel you need to avoid the WORST of the batch. Don't recruit your idiots from places where Ricky is likely to see a reference to here. This guy isn't a monomaniac like Old Socialist. Ricky is a walking disease.

Let the trolls come. So long as they wish to provide lively debate then they will be welcome with open arms. And when they stop being nice and start disrupting the board then we have a little surprise for them. Both me and Solar have admin capabilities and you guys will see how truly childish our senses of humor can be as we modify their posts to humor ourselves.
