The report begins with the following statement:
"We, the members of this grand jury, need you to hear this. We know some of you have head some of it before. There have been other reports about child sex abuse within the Catholic Church. But never on this scale. For many of us, those earlier stories happened someplace else, someplace away. Now we know the truth: it happened everywhere."

This is representative of the entire church, it also explains why so many Dims claim to be Catholic.
I don't mind the church being exposed if it's true and the accusers have got the goods on the accused. Not just stories.
However, I do object to the church being the only approved target, while everybody skates on even worse crimes in Hollywood, DC, schools, the upper-crust, the media, etc.
It's rather fucked up if you make a big splashy show of 10% of the situation, and lt the other 90% just keep on doing it.
The great religions of the world, Roman Catholicism, Judaism,
Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism; understood that while Mankind
exists in a material setting; their mission was always spiritual.
Sadly, Roman Catholicism appears to have lost sight of this.
How else does one explain its acceptance/tolerance of homosexuality,
a corrosive plague which is the mortal enemy of the family unit and
the driving force behind this disgraceful priestly malaise.
