Nope, they have no rights, they are not citizens. They do however have the privilege of applying for citizenship at the border, or if, they can prove their case, asylum.

I believe he is after the wall. Either he gets the wall and illegals stay while the process works itself out, or they go back
with no process. I guess the dims have a third option, scream and holler, have no solution, and blame president Trump.

Heard some interesting talk about Trump framing it in terms of national security. Cartels / drugs........ terrorism / jihad.
Trump just goes through the steps of declaring emergency status for the security threats, and rolls on down the road with emergency powers.
Not sure about every last detail, but it sounded pretty viable.

Trump has increasingly been labeling the immigration mess an
invasion. Good for him as calling a spade a spade is long overdue.

It is debatable what due process is in these cases. If a person is to be incarcerated, there must be a hearing within 48 hrs. If they are arrested, detained briefly (processed) and the FREED to be sent back across the border a "hearing" is a moot point. Then again, sometimes these "detainees'" are asked to sign a voluntary waiver to a hearing in favor of re release BACK ACROSS THE BORDER....where they can try again later that night.....an option many take.
The second best thing Trump can do is write an EXo directing the State Dept to process ALL REQUESTS FOR ASYLUM at the US EMbassy in the seekers HOME COUNTRY. Requests for asylum will no longer be handled at the border due to lack of resources.... :popcorn:
There are pure, simple legal and administrative ways to fix the mess. Without BO, Lynch, Holder, Comey running their scam ......... all we have to do is NOT ignore all the laws and processes that already exist.
We do not have to immediately give "super protected citizen status" to every slug that stands at our border, announcing "you will give me asylum".
That's not really a thing, in reality. It's only a thing when the WH is actively, creatively making up weird shit as they go. Which stopped in Nov 2016.
