Surprise! Walmart health plan is cheaper, offers more coverage than Obamacare.
snip~
New Obamacare health insurance enrollees may feel a pang of envy when they eye the coverage plans offered by Walmart to its employees.
For many years, the giant discount retailer has been the target of unions and liberal activists who have harshly criticized the company's health care plans, calling them "notorious for failing to provide health benefits" and "substandard."
But a Washington Examiner comparison of the two health insurance programs found that Walmart's plan is more affordable and provides significantly better access to high-quality medical care than Obamacare.
Independent insurance agents affiliated with the National Association of Health Underwriters and health policy experts compared the two at the request of the Examiner.

Wait! Isn't this the Walmart that's "exploiting" their employees!!!!! :woot:
LOL. Walmart's healthcare plan is PART OF Obamacare, along with every other health insurance people can purchase today. Obamacare is simply a LAW that affects EVERY form of healthcare, so that it doesn't matter who you choose to be insured with, it is still considered OBAMACARE!

The irony is hilarious. Dems love to bash Walmart for how badly they treat their workers and now this comes out. It is not good times at the WH.

Not really, unless you want to admit that obama is a bald faced liar. Remember, "if you like your plan, you can keep it"???? Private policies are subject to the requirements of the law but in my opinion obamacare is all these new exchanges and the policies offered through them. All it did to private policies was manage to muck up a good thing.

Not until next year, it isn't. Walmart is definitely a big business, and they all received a delay.
Why is this a surprise? My 11 year old Granddaughter could come up with a better health care "plan" and probably engineer a better website to have people sign up for it than the cabal of GS 15 brain dead morons are still fumbling around with.

Of course, but your granddaughter's first goal would be to come up with a health plan - not protect or expand her bureaucratic turf.
