Cowherd: Trump's Rise Similar to Obama's in 2008
On the Wednesday broadcast of "The Herd", host Colin Cowherd compared Donald Trump's rise to President Barack Obama's 2008 rise.
Cowherd first compared Obama running on "hope" to Trump running on the "wall," both of which he said are not "real" strategies.
"I watch how flummoxed the left is with Trump and it sounds like my conservative friends with Obama eight years ago, 'I don't get it. I don't understand it,'" he said. "At the time, liberals were mad at the Bush years. They were pissed and Obama was their missile to beat the conservatives. Now, conservatives are pissed. For eight years Obama has owned 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and Trump is their missile head first into the Democrats."
"I tell you, when you sit in the middle, and I'm a financial conservative and a social liberal, when you sit in the middle and hear both groups eight years separated separated, it is largely the same movement," Cowherd added.

Square circles, Catholic Muslims as well as fiscal conservatives/social liberals don't exist.
One either has principles or one doesn't.
Brainless yet predictable malarkey from another media type.

Social liberalism leads to
babies born out of wedlock,
which leads to
mothers clamoring for help,
which leads to
today's welfare state: fiscal liberalism.
