That is the point. Yes we know there is a place to check off republican or democrat on the ballot, but in reality, in some cases, it does not matter who you vote for. Look at it this way, we have too many republicans in congress that if you just look at the voting record, it would be hard to know if that person was a republican or a democrat. When the democrats were pushing Jackson for SCOTUS they had no problem getting republicans to vote for her even though she is radical leftist. Point being, you should know who the republicans are by how they vote and what they stand for.

I think it still needs to be pointed out that there are still two ideologies around, the elites/poor vs the middle class majority. Basically Americanism vs antiamericanism.

You could also say that its the Leaders of both parties vs the Voters of both parties.

The two party system is an illusion of the elites/poor.

I don't disagree that the actual differences between the two parties are minimal.  However, as far as elections go, many center people, like me, still shift between parties when deciding who to vote for.

Thats the big difference between the old commies and the new. The old ones from russia and china were all about an immediate revolution. The commies in america have been slowly bringing about an evolution. Thats why they have been able to make such in roads, thru secrecy.
