Title: Republican Candidates on the Trans Pacific Partnership
Post by: ChristieForPres on November 28, 2015, 07:36:51 AM
Trump has called it a horrible deal. Bernie Sander's says our job is to not let it become law. Take Obama's ridiculous tobacco concession out of the equation, do any candidates support this deal and want to make it happen for small businesses? Or do most Republicans not want to agree with Obama for once and are overlooking it's ways to slash tariffs for small businesses? Ford Motor Company has said that it doesn't concern itself with currency manipulation by our trading partners, and that is a problem. But anyways which candidate would fight for this deal, and actually be able to get republican support from Congress since Obama cannot.

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has it right.
The atrocious thing about TPP is that it
permanently gives away America's right
to make its own trade and immigration laws.

We can get tariff balance without doing that.
The USA just needs to enact tariffs against countries
that enact tariffs against us,
and then use that as a bargaining chip.

Don't give the power to control our destiny
away to some multinational tribunal!

Or better yet, enact Fair Tax!
Our entire tax system constitutes a giant
NEGATIVE tariff!
We already have protectionism!
Except our own government is
protecting FOREIGN industry
against AMERICAN competition!

Fair Tax would apply equally to foreign and domestic products.
