"Two of the most prominent and influential megadonors in the Republican Party reportedly have picked their man in the 2016 presidential race: Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R).
According to The New York Times, David Koch told a Monday gathering of GOP donors that he and his fellow billionaire brother, Charles Koch, want Walker in the White House.
"We will support whoever the candidate is," Koch said at the Manhattan event, according to Times reporter Nick Confessore's sources. "But it should be Scott Walker."

Whew... thanks, NYT. Now I don't have to send-away for that Sky King Secret Future-Revealing Crypto-Ring, with invisible-message decoder.
Last year I attended the National Americans for Prosperity Conference which is an organization sponsored by David Koch. All of the conservative candidates spoke at the event, as did David Koch. At the time I was concerned that the Kochs may be supporting Rand Paul. Rand had a large contingency of fans attending the Conference.
However, Ted Cruz raised the roof with his speech! So I was thinking that the Koch Bros. might be influenced by the response the audience had toward Ted's speech.
But I also knew that the Kochs had funded the Wisconsin campaign against the Unions. They were squarely behind Scott Walker and I'm sure must have saved him from being eaten by the Union beast.
Walker made a good speech at the Conference and got a good reception by the crowd, but not as good as Rand and Cruz. Rubio did not attend. Fiorina gave a decent speech and I attended a break out session with her.... where she was more impressive.
The Kochs were also squarely behind the recall elections in Colorado over the Second Amendment. And they mopped up there.
So, there is no doubt that the Kochs have a strong presence in the political arena and they are fairly conservative. I say fairly because I think they are weak on the social issues.
So I suppose we should not be surprised by their continued support of Scott Walker. But I was hoping the bulk of their financial support would go to Ted Cruz. The Koch money could swing the Primary elections.

according to Times reporter Nick Confessore's sources.Yep, gotta leave it to the Climes to spin a non story into a story by claiming anonymous sources without calling them anonymous.
Most intelligent people call this out for what it is, "Hearsay", Bull Shit, and most reputable news outlets wouldn't touch, but this is the NY Slimes after all.
Fact is, this story says absolutely nothing.
Koch said they will not interfere with the primary process, so unless they have a crystal ball, how would they know Walker is the choice?
Their support might not be a complete gamechanger for Walker, however. The Times reported that David Koch said his family might personally contribute to Walker's campaign, but
their organizational network would remain neutral until a Republican nominee emerges from the primary. "Koch suggested that the political organizations they oversee — which include Americans for Prosperity, a grass-roots organization, and Freedom Partners, a donor trade group with an affiliated super PAC — would not intervene in the Republican primary process on behalf of a single candidate," Confessore wrote.
A spokesperson for Walker, who has still not formally announced his 2016 campaign, did not immediately return a request for comment from Business Insider.

Just a little more information on the story!
CLEANUP ON AISLE SIX: KOCHS NOT BACKING WALKER... YET
The NYT reported that conservative industrialist David Koch all but endorsed Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin for the GOP nomination after Walker gave a bravura performance to big donors at New York's Union League Club on Monday. Then Koch and the conservative network he founded and helps fund with brother Charles, hurried to clarify. The network revealed to Politico that yes, it might play in the GOP primary process but that Walker was not necessarily the choice. Walker being branded as the Kochs' man, especially so early, would be bad for Walker. It would also hurt the conservative network's ability to raise money from other mega-donors who might be backing other candidates. The plan, as told to Politico, is instead to wait and hold another forum for candidates this summer like the one the network hosted in January.
Fox News Online
However this ends, the publicity gained for the people of Wisconsin, especially the long suffering conservative God fearing salts of the earth we know as the Wisconsin people, of the extent of the tyranny they continue to experience at the hands of the ruling left.
*They have John Doe warrants.
*They have no knock, especially for vocal conservatives. One of them said he thought it was a home invasion. And the police comply!
*The left is vindictive, vengeful, manipulating, on taxpayer dime, of course.
*Milwaukee's county Sheriff David Clarke is a huge hit at the NRA convention. Liberals, says Sheriff Clarke, have nearly destroyed Milwaukee; He says he might be the only constitutional conservative on the entire county payroll.
This is just the tip of the iceberg on that state.

And Scott Walker continues to beat them. Just another example of the "silent majority" we have not seen since the 1970's.
