Consider this, it was almost a year old survey.

According to a recent poll by Rasmussen, 58% of likely U.S. voters believe that the media is an enemy of the people.

A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports finds that 58% of Likely U.S. Voters at least somewhat agree that the media are "truly the enemy of the people," including 34% who Strongly Agree. Thirty-six percent (36%) don't agree, including 23% who Strongly Disagree. (To see survey question wording,

1* Do you trust the political news you are getting?

2* How serious of a problem is "fake news" in the media?

3* Do you agree or disagree with this statement: The media are "truly the enemy of the people"?

NOTE: Margin of Sampling Error, +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence
