House GOP hopeful slams Politico, Democratic opponent for publishing sexual assault records
Indiana Republican congressional candidate Jennifer-Ruth Green blasted the publishing of military records detailing a sexual assault she endured.
Green was featured in a Friday Politico article, which described the assault in an attempt to explain away a poor performance evaluation she received in 2009 while a captain with the Air Force. The news outlet claimed it obtained her military record to find the evaluations and the instance "when she and a small group of officers visited the national training center. She left the group to climb into a cramped guard tower where Green says an Iraqi serviceman sexually assaulted her by grabbing her breast and exposing himself."
