Title: President Trump tells DREAMers not to worry - (groan)

Donald Trump Signals DACA Policy Within Next Four Weeks

During the campaign, Trump vowed to repeal DACA and DAPA (Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents), a promise that anti-amnesty activists are watching closely.
During the ABC interview, however, Trump urged the so-called "DREAMers" not to worry.
"They are here illegally. They shouldn't be very worried. I do have a big heart. We're going to take care of everybody," he said, promising to restore a strong border. "Where you have great people that are here that have done a good job, they should be far less worried."

I'm not going to flip over this.  I'd like all the kids of the illegals to be sent back right now, but at this point, I'm very happy he's securing the border, pushing forward with the physical border agenda, already sending back illegals who get caught, and is all around locking it up and enforcing the law.  A lot of those kids will go back with their border hopping parents as they get caught and deported anyway.

I'm going to pick my battles, and for this one, I'm supporting what he's doing so far with the border.

I am thinking IF mom and dad can not get a job or Medicaid they will 'self-deport'.  No free stuff NO stay.

Yeah, that's what usually happens...  if they don't have any incentive to stay provided by gubmit....

Agree. Immigration reform and border security is not a two week project. To me step one is concentrate on getting rid of criminal illegals and begin enforcing existing laws on the border. My county is probably about 12% Hispanic. Most are hard working family folks who do not create any problems. At this point, going after them would be a distraction from shooting at the priority targets.
