Except in the legislative halls of Austin, Mrs Hupp has all but been ignored. Based on her story, she ran for and was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 1996, was elected, and left her post at the end of 2006. She was very instrumental in helping to get concealed carry legislation passed in Texas. Every gun owner in Texas knows her story and would probably vote en mass for her to go to a higher plane.
As I recall, she did testify to Congress after the debacle known as Columbine when every lowlife, no account, sumbiching gun grabber in the country was crying for stronger gun control laws.
Glad you brought up Mrs Hupp. She is a heroine in Texas.

There is very little doubt, MD, she could have taken the sumbich down before he had done too much damage. She had a clear shot.
My fear is the bastard gun grabbing sumbiches have the bit in their teeth after the recent episodes, and are coming after us with all barrels blazing. I am not sure the spineless PUBS have enough cojones' to withstand the onslaught.

Two things will trip this country into Civil War.
(1) When the gun grabbers believe that passing a law in Washingto, DC equals reality. And they actually try to seize all those weapons out there.
And.
(2) When the bankrupt blue states try to seize the bulging treasuries of the red states.

Here is my personal fear, these politicians are cornered like rats, not on the gun issue but about EVERYTHING else, no budget, fiscal cliff, debt ceiling and so on with rating in the low teens.
So now they have something the 47% and a few others who are ill informed have sunk their teeth into big time. They need something anything to look good about and Gun Control fell onto their lap and they will ride the wave as long as they can and get out of it whatever they can. And out of all of this the loser will be the Law Abiding Citizen with no criminal record and who follows the laws of the country.
