Liberals and progressives continue to stupidly believe that they can magically create perfect equality and fairness among humans.  A species that will always have a high % of cheats, loafers, thieves, and lunatic despots.  Who love the help of stupid liberals to run their scams.

Everyone has known for the last 50 years that the only way to even pretend you're achieving such a thing, is through communism at the end of a machine gun, and killing 10-30% of the population.

But still the dumbasses pretend it's just about to magically come true, any day now.

I love it when the communism wonks tell us about the mass murdering dictators who killed all the evil rich people....who will magically give power back to the people.

Everybody has a right to access food, housing, healthcare etc. They don't have an entitlement to it. The government in trying to make it a right actually blocks people from accessing to these things. There will always be winners and losers. Rich and poor. That will never change no matter how much government intervention there is.
We are seen as being cruel because we don't focus on any specific group. That is because we want everyone to have a better life and by allowing a free market to thrive everyone has a chance. Most will. Some won't.  Even less will fail. Government does nothing but destroy a person's work ethic.

Correction to "they will never change". Has been my observations that the more a person stands in the Hand Out line, the more the person/persons become complacent with their standard of living. Give 'em a free carrot and some seem to adapt and attitude of why work for the Chief Salad when can sit on butt and wait for my free carrot.

The reply to the OP is simple really.

Any civilized nation, any civilized society, is and can be seen for what it truly is as a society, by looking at the way in which it treats it's own needy.

This is, despite what some of these 1933 nazi-esque Eugenicists, who try to hide and act as if they are "conservatives" would have us beleive what seperates mankind from, being just another dumb mammal, or animal which walks on two legs.

In fact in nature, there have been plenty of mammals which walk on two legs, even some which could not only walk on two legs, but which could gasp yes, talk, AND even communicate with a spoken language as we do.

And one of the key things, which separates us, from them as a species, is the fact that we as a species, will try and do what is the moral thing to do.

We try to help those who are truly needy in our society's, those who can't do for themselves, in what is still to this day and age, for lack of a better or different term, what is, still basically our tribe's.

It is not truly conservative, to simply say, oh well they can't fend for themselves, so it's better for the whole if they just die in a hole someplace.

No, the truly conservative thing, we as a people, as a species do, is to say "here let me teach you to fish, so you can feed yourself forever, instead of simply giving you a fish for today".

It'll cost you to feed yourself, and if you build a pond and stock it with fish, you'll be arrested and charged under numerous codes, from Fish and Game, to EPA violations.

America, her constitution, and her conservatives, have given us the world's best opportunity ever for poor people to make their lives better.

Unfettered opportunity to work hard and be entrepreneurs.  Greatest access to education ever, anywhere.

We even grudgingly agree to a form of socialism to help those who can't help themselves.

Liberals and progressives have given us nothing but institutional mediocrity, misery, and social / personal enslavement.

And when their claims and theories fail every time, all they do is parrot/ mouth-breathe the same disproven nonsense.  And of course lie like hell about everything.
