It was submitted as a package and will be rejected as a complete package.
However, the battle isn't over, even after they throw it out as unconstitutional.

I want very much for you to be correct, but I fear it won't go that way. We can always hope...

I think the individual mandate will be ruled unconstitutional, but the SCOTUS will refrain from ruling on the rest of the act. They will return the bill to Congress and tell them to "fix it".

I think I read the same article, about the creep sitting next to the lady at the bar that just won't stop feeling her up in the belief that, sooner or later, she'll come across.

I can't help believing that we're at a major crossroads, not just with Obamacare, but with the entire concept of a half-assed socialist like Dear Leader in the White House. I have the feeling that folks are more than just a little fired up this time around, and well they should be!

In the end, there's no reason the gal at the bar should EVER give in, and there is EVERY reason for her to resist.

Give in? She might smack him across the face with that heavy purse - after she throws a couple of drinks in his face - just before those burly bouncers show him the door. "His" actions may end any possibility of her ever giving in. I think it's that way with socialist healthcare. I agree with you, "she's" had a chance to check out his moves - and they're totally lame.

I'll base this on what Antonin Scallia said, "We received it as a package and will decide on it as a complete package".
I think he will be writing the courts opinion in the end as well.

But he stated quite clearly, it is not our job (SCOTUS) to do your job for you, if you wanted us to decide on the individual mandate, you should have submitted it separately, but you didn't, so we take what you submitted to the court as a complete package.

I don't think it can be any clearer that that, in other words, the whole thing goes down in flames the first time through.
But it will be back under new names and faces, but it will always be socialism, simply repackaged.

Nah, Socialists remind me of men who practice "shotgun" come-ons.  They will feel one woman up... get their face slapped, move on to another, and another, and another until whey find one who finally gives in....and count themselves as sucessful lotharios.  They aren't attractive or particularly witty...but they are persistent.

Why do I get the feeling that Sotomayer and Kagen are tired of being thought of as Obama's puppets. And they're appointed for life, why should they give a fig about what Obama wants. The way the polls are looking, the next time they see him will be at President Romney's Inauguration.

True story, a friend I grew up with, lib to the core, went with two of my other childhood friends to a bar in old town Sacto. back in the 80s.
We were sitting having a drink when a couple of girls asked me to dance, when I returned, My lib friend was complaining that women never approach him.
My friends and I explained, that he needs to make himself available, go ask them to dance.
Our friend accepted the advice and promptly ask a nice looking girl to dance, about two short minutes in, the girl hauled off and slapped him.
He came back and acted as if nothing had happened, a moment later, the process repeats, again, a hand upside the head.
My friends looked at me and asked what in the Hell did he do?
I said we better keep an eye on him this time, again, he asks another girl to dance and within 10 seconds on the dance floor she slugs him in the mouth.
He comes back to the table and I asked him why are these women hitting you?

He grabs the ashtray and throws it at the wall and say's "Bitches! All they want to do is dance, they don't want to fuck".

He said a friend told him he goes to concerts and goes through the crowd and asks women that very same thing and after 40 or more refusals, there's always one willing to say yes.
And yes, you guessed it, his friend Steve is a loser lib as well.
Lib men neither respect  or appreciate women, they see them like they do all other classes and races, as lesser people.
