Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remembers well just how US President Barack Obama brushed aside Israeli objections and went ahead with the P5+1 nuclear agreement with Iran.
Now, Netanyahu is reportedly planning some personal payback.
According to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida, Netanyahu will make common cause with moderate Arab governments in order to sabotage Obama's plan to succeed Ban Ki-moon when the South Korean diplomat ends his term as United Nations secretary-general on December 31 of this year.

There'll be plenty of Saudi impetus to keep that bum out the seat as well. I think he'll be in for huge surprise that most of the world is unimpressed by him. I perceive that Obama at the helm of the U.N. could indeed be very dangerous for us.
He would likely transform it into a much more powerful entity. He would see himself as Ruler of the World.
I have long thought that the U.N. would be the vehicle of the biblical anti-christ of Revelation. It is the only organization that lends itself to elevating a single person to world leadership.
Not only could Obama fundamentally transform America, he could transform the entire world to conform to his ideology. We all know how persuasive he can be with simple minds. He is devious and deceptive beyond belief!!
Too bad Obama will not follow the tradition of his predecessors and go back home to Chicago to write his memoirs. That is not his style. He is far too lazy for that type of work. He wants to stay in the spotlight and continue his perpetration of evil on the world. :scared:

That was the same reasoning people used when they voted to ratify the 17th Amendment!!! That absolutely killed the sovereignty of the States!
There are some things in which the people are not the best avenue for making decisions. The Founders wanted us to elect a representative from our own community but NOT our Senator. They should be "appointed" by the State Houses and held accountable to them. The Senate has the most power in Congress. That kept the States in control of a third of the federal government.
Our rep to the U.N. is so important that the general public is quite frankly not enlightened enough to be involved in that process. The executive branch is best suited to pick our rep.
Having said that, Obama is not wanting to be our Rep to the U.N. He wants to be the Director General of the U.N. Big difference!
I believe the Directors are selected by the Security Council of the U.N. Someone correct me if I am wrong about that.

I think those are two completely different things. Senators were accountable to the states through the selection of representatives in the state. The UN ambassador is accountable to who? About 20 years ago the ship I was assigned to made a port call in Mobassa Kenya. All of the black guys were excited about visiting the their "ancestral homeland". I guess they expected to be welcomed home as conquering heroes, or prodigal sons or something like that. They were in for a rude awakening!

The Presidency was his testing ground. If he could run roughshod over the most powerful nation in the world surely he could do the same in spades at the U.N. with far greater consequences.
I agree and he ain't through. He won't stop as long as he thinks he can dupe another mass of people like he did the liberals and rinos in this country. I didn't watch his last sotu speech last night, got more than I could stomach on the early morning news a few moments ago where he stated that one of his main objectives was to make sure that the next presidency was filled by a democrat. That sentence has several worrisome inclinations for me as i put nothing past him. I'll swear, that man makes me sick, absolutely sick to my stomach.

Same here, key. I can't listen to him in any context... after a few moments into his 2010 State Of The Union speech.
Up until then, I'd listened to every State Of The Union in its entirety since the late 50's, if I wasn't predisposed to be elsewhere or privy to age-related childhood-distractions.

I did not watch the SOTU but watched a WWII movie instead. I did listen to a few minutes of the FOX News analysis after the speech. I couldn't even endure that so I turned off the TV and went to bed.
I just hope the Primary race news drowns out Obama for the rest of the year. As one man said on TV, I would love for Obama to work on his golf game this year and stay on the golf course. It would be the most helpful thing he could do.

Getting lectured by a habitual liar makes my blood pressure rise - so, it's bad for my health to listen to BO.
The few clips I've heard on the radio makes me long for a President that respects the office and represents the entire nation, supporters or not.
Encouraging statements were full of lies, "He must think we're really, really stupid or have no grasp of reality", comes to mind.
