I knew what Russia was. Dark, gloomy, depressed. Guys in KGB trench coats monitoring people. Bread lines.
So I came across this video of Gorky Park in Moscow. Apparently they have Friday night dancing. I linked to a good part below. This is what civilization looks like.
In 2018 there was a FIFA soccer event in Russia. People from UK came back shocked at how nice things were. Can't have that.
Watch for one minute.

Personally, I think our leadership needs to stop telling us how Russia is the big bad monster and take a good look at what is going on in Europe. It's easier for a friend to stab you in the back than an enemy.
You can find many videos on school opening day in Russia. If you wonder how civilized things like the videos above happen.
Here is one video from a 23 year old youtuber who returns to her village school. This video is where I first learned that in most (21 of 22?) RU republics they teach the local language every day. She "Agent Nesty' has a droll dry sense of humor. I learn a lot about countries from such video blogs.

Day in My SOVIET ☭ VILLAGE SCHOOL in Russia
The first day of school is when a bunch of Chechen militants took over the school in Beslan with hundreds killed. RU says the US paid for it. The more I learn about US policy the more I believe it..

If the Earth was a beautiful woman, EU would be the ugly boil on her ass.
