WHAT a GREAT idea!!! WHAT could POSSIBLY go wrong?
Minneapolis City Council members consider disbanding the police
If you've been tuned into the Minneapolis public safety scene, you know that for years, Reclaim the Block and other grassroots community groups have been asking the city to do one thing: stop investing in policing.

Minnesota Concealed Carry Laws - Pew Pew Tactical

Minnesota Flag Getting the Permit. First things first, it's useful to know that Minnesota is a shall-issue state. That means, as long as you fill out the application correctly and meet all the requirements, a CCW permit, officially a "permit to carry", will be issued to you.
Actually, any state that accommodates Somalis and muslims, even so far as putting them in office, and that little mayor Frey, allowing the muslim call to prayer through out the city, electing a little Marxist power hungry Marxist to the governor's mansion....deserve what they get.
self disclosure i am angry today. My friend's father..72, a young 72, was allowed to suffocate last nite when they took him off the ventilator which causes lung problems after being admitted to the hospital in February with NO COVID SYMPTOMS but within 36 hours they diagnosed him with covid. He was denied HCQ, or anything that might have helped. They didn't have it...or he didn't qualify. The governor denied it to covid patients. so yes. I am particularly ticked today.
Northfield, Minnesota.
The citizens handled that fairly well
No doubt this reminder is redundant on this forum, but ... just in case .... now is the time to get that AR15 if you don't have one. Plus 2000 rounds of ammunition and a dozen magazines. An early Christmas present to yourself. And what about other members of your family?
Because ... this is just the beginning.

well the main thing is that all our blue state politicians have a safe place to go to when the SHTF because there's gonna be a price on their heads. and they gotta come out sometime.

I disagree. It's the end.
it's not the end. It is the beginning. It's gonna be some kind of fun.

AntiFa is out of play. Now it's just looters and typical trash. In no scenario do they dare venture out to the burbs to cause trouble.

The real KKK met their end at Northfield
This has been tried before, and in Washington DC of all places back when my former boss Marion Barry and his version of BLM were trying for home rule. Oh they wanted the money from the Federal Govt who funded us but they wanted direct control of it so they could steal a good portion of it. They finally got their wish in the late 70's but "Grandfathered" all of us who were already on the force so that our paycheck and our pensions came out of the Federal Govt. The ew hires from the early 80's on had some lousy retiremet system ad Of course we had crap equipment, vehicles and our Station houses looked like something out of European Gothic horror movie circa 1920. The SWAT team had 30 30 lever action rifles up until about 1980.
So what these "Community organizers" want is the Police Budget turned over to them to dole out as necessary to "rebuild" their neighborhoods and of course to manage as they see fit, which means a license to steal. The Police force as we know it will become more "regulators" rather than Law Enforcemet, going around investigating racist crimes, arresting people for not wearing masks or saying bad stuff about the mayor and maybe wearing MAGA hats. They will try to come up with some "Ombudsman" system which means each neighborhood has its own "Block captain" who handles enforcement.... thats right out of the Commie play book.
Personally I hope they do it and the city desinigrates further into a swirling mass of flaming shit.

Strongly disagree. An AR15 is not a gun for everyone especially someone that doesn't know guns and how to use them. They are not plug and play. I don't disagree with being armed for your protection BUT you also need to be educated about that responsibility.

Yeah, I've never been a fan of the 223, I prefer a round that makes certain they knew they were hit. I have plenty of rifles and pistols, but my go to is my Mossberg 12ga, I want them to look down and see a big ass hole!

I have an AR. And I have handled one and shot it and that's how I knew I wanted one. As far as practice goes....I don't think there is anything more deadly than a woman with NO training intent on putting a hole in you if you even look at her kids.
Think about it.

I carried an M-16, full auto, but even then, I'd have preferred a shotgun. The M-16 was designed to maim, take out one enemy, and two leave the battle field carrying him.
Anyway, this is what I was taught in the army, it was also perfect for bamboo forests because the bullet would shatter and continue on like buckshot.
It's definitely a great weapon, but I'd take an old M-1 30 cal carbine over one, which I have. A 223 is basically a 22 caliber bullet if that helps, just more power behind it in an AR.

Let Minneapolis do that. Let's see how Ms Witchmer likes to deal with total anarchy in her state. Perhaps she'll consider instituting sharia law in that city. I don't think the mayor would mind...he seems to have some kind of affinity for the mussies.

She is the governor of Michigan, not Minnesota.
