How stupid can one person be. I'm going to leave a laptop labeled "Secret Service" with "sensitive" documents inside of their car on the seat for the world to see in New York City.
I'm sorry but people are not that dumb.
Laptop with Trump Tower floor plans STOLEN from Secret Service agent
A laptop computer containing floor plans for Trump Tower, information about the Hillary Clinton email investigation and other national security information was stolen from a Secret Service agent's vehicle in Brooklyn, police sources told the Daily News.
Authorities have been frantically searching for the laptop since it was stolen Thursday morning.
Some items stolen along with the laptop — including coins and a black bag with the Secret Service insignia on it — were later recovered.
But the laptop, along with other documents described as "sensitive," were still being sought.
The thief stepped out of a car, possibly an Uber, on a street in Bath Beach and stole the laptop from the agent's vehicle, which was parked in the driveway of her home.
The agent reported the laptop contained floor plans for Trump Tower, evacuation protocols and information regarding the investigation of Hillary Clinton's private email server.
The agent also told investigators that while nothing about the White House or foreign leaders is stored on the laptop, the information on there could compromise national security.

FIRED!!!
This is absolutely unacceptable, and no, it wasn't an accident.
Put this agent under full surveillance, and find out who her contact was, she has been compromised.
Agreed. this is too convenient.

Un-friggin-believable....!
Maybe the Secret Service laptop will show up in Rachel Maddow mailbox.
"Her" explains everything.

Yeah, totally out of character
When I associated with these people, they all had one character in common, they were anal as Hell about detail and following the book.
In other words, they were selected because of they followed the rules, the majority of grunts in the workforce were smart as Hell but needed a rule book to give them boundaries to work within, and leaving a laptop unaccounted for was unheard of, or in those days, tapes, notebooks, hardware issued or under their control.
Maybe they've lowered the standards since the 80s? In fact, I wonder if the Marxist had anything to do with her being hired?
So people can hop the fence and walk around and take secret documents from the SS like taking candy from a baby?
Kim Dotcom is right -- there really is a plot to take out the President. Unreal. At least Kennedy's killers caught everyone by surprise. These people are doing it out in the open.
My bad, I thought it was the FBI. I know nothing about the SS, other than the reputation of the Nazi. Freudian?
It need not be about Trump. The laptop also had Hillary Clinton info (valuable beyond measure to her defense lawyers).
Trump should think about hiring his own private security detail and send the SS back to looking for funny money.

The drunken caper down in Columbia with those hookers tore it for me, the last straw in an agency which thinks it tells the President what to do. The "private security detail" you seek is called the U.S. Marine Corps. When you absolutely, positively want it guarded without bungling the job with a 17-minute intrusion.
Question: Does President Trump still have his own secret service in place?

Question: Does President Trump still have his own secret service in place?
Yes, as evidenced by the fact that he's still alive.

If I remember right this is not the first government computer that has disappeared that way. Also b o teleprompter equipment.
Odd. It seems like the Secret Service is incapable of keeping anything a secret.

Why would the SS be exempt from the corruption of the last eight years?

Trump has his own security force, made up of retired (ex) Secret Service, FBI, Police or Military....top notch people. I'm not sure what role they play since the Secret Service would have top priority, my guess would be some interaction on certain details and movements especially at Trump Tower.
