Indeed snowflake....what crimes?

So what you're saying is the felon with a hand gun had a right to point it at a criminal with a rifle and the criminal with the rifle won? I haven't changed my position in the least.  Is it ok for children to be patrolling the streets with firearms? Is it ok for children at any age to buy and have firearms? Is ok for violent felons to buy and have firearms? Is it ok for illegal immigrants to buy and have firearms? Is it ok for convicted wife beaters to have firearms? What do you say to that sky screamer?

You must be okay with all the kids in Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, NY and LA carrying guns to protect themselves not to mention all the felons and gangbangers?

His 17 years old argument is to justify Rittenhouse attackers to go free of charge.

There is a big difference between rule of law and mob rule............our Founding Fathers drew that line in the sand when they gave us a Republic over a democracy. You can clearly see democracy (mob rule) and a Republic (rule of law) separated in this thread.

Lady justice doesn't picks up her blindfold to take a peek at who is to be guilty before a trial verdict. Only mob rule does that..... not a Republic for which I stand.
Funny how so many want to protect mob rule, looting, burning, yet castigate a young man standing up to the mob.

Hmm....

You must be at least 17 to enlist in any branch of the active military.

Amazing how people have been duped into bailing out a criminal. I hope he gets what he deserves.

What this boy really deserves is our respect.

Why he did it so stupidly and thoughtlessly is another matter. Perhaps the mental stress was impossible to bear for such a young man.

When a gang of baboons armed with clubs moves on you, you start to feel insecure, even if you have a rifle in your hands,

Agree!!!
Sometimes doing what's Right comes with consequence, but not doing anything at all, can lead to even worse consequences.
These riots ended after this, so there's that.

I am generally against sending young boys to war. 30-year-olds are more enduring, and 40-year-olds fight better than young ones.

Well said.  President Trump's use of the National Guard and stiffening federal sentences for tearing down statues also put a stop to much of the violence.

Now if only Portland and Seattle would wake up and allow the Fed to come in and do its job.
I just read where another 135 police just bailed on Seattle. What will this do to law and order? Will people be forced to take law into their owns hands too?

It's sad that good people are forced into situations where bad things happen.

My point is if your old enough to be in the military your Old Enough to have a gun.
Not any definition then if your old enough to be in the military your old enough to vote.

I would say once you have been trained to be a killing machine.  It don't take long if you can stay alive for a year or two.

No. I'm saying he is a criminal based on facts. He was not permitted to illegally carry the rifle he used. He didn't own the rifle and was involved in a felony to get the rifle. There is no way possible for him to be legally in possession of the rifle he used. Later information has come out that IF true Rittenhouse committed another felony because he supposedly gave his friend the money to buy the gun for him. That is a straw purchase which is a felony. Also the law says Rittenhouse has to have training and certificates that he does not have to legally open carry a firearm at 17yo for hunting. He was not hunting so he was not legal in carrying the firearm. Those are facts and the law. Rittenhouse is a criminal because he committed crimes.
You keep saying this and I keep posting what he is actually charged with.
QuoteNow he faces two felony charges of homicide in the deaths of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony M. Huber, and a felony attempted homicide charge in Grosskreutz's incident. Rittenhouse is also facing charges of possessing a dangerous weapon while under the age of 18, which is a misdemeanor. Under Wisconsin law he is not legally allowed to possess a gun at his age. His attorney says he acted in self-defense.

I'm guessing here either the da had not talked to you or the law reads something else.

I understand. My own uncle was taken to the 2 WW front at the age of 17 (1943) and remained in the war until 1945. But in the USSR, all older men by that time had either been killed or wounded in the war.

Exactly.......!
