This report has been all over the net today. Some say it's a rumor but who knows? Guess we'll find out soon enough. If he's been assassinated, it was probably a coup by the military. Maybe some of them want new leaders.

If they wanted new leaders they would have avoided elevating him in the first place.
And no assassination could have taken place in Beijing with out the permission of the Chinese government.
