Normally I poo poo the idea of a revolt, but under those circumstances, it only takes a spark to start a fire that would spread to the point that that gov would be unable to quell it.

I think we're all fed up with a "do nothing" Washington, period.
Does anything ever get done that's strictly for the betterment of the American people? 
No! When our reps get to Washington, they learn quickly to look out for each other, protect their turf and to heck with everyone else.

We only see them acting like actual reps when voting time comes around again.
Both of my senators are never in the news, never do anything worthy of press, but you just let them run for re-election and they're all over the place, talking up their accomplishments as though they had any.

Even though I'm independent, I'm frustrated with the republicans that have let Obama actually commit treason and not a word is said. If I knew the answer to that, I probably wouldn't be so frustrated.

A few inquiries into a couple of things Obama or Holder have done, but never any closure on any of them. With the exception of a couple of guys, all republicans are a bunch of wussies...and old as dirt.  They're going to have to die off before we're rid of them and get some young fighting blood in there.

Wheter you "Poo Poo" the idea or not I see it as a reality beyond control....If Hussein gets re elcted I see another year (at most) then chaos first financially....If there are a majority of Pubs controlling congress, the guy is gonna rule by Xo....if his recent chiding of the supreme court is any indication.

I am a student of revolution, As I said before when you start taking things away from people, when they lose their jobs, their homes, their indpendance and freedom (that happens when they become totally dependant on the welfare state) they have nothing left to loose and its a matter of time before they start picking up rocks...or a gun.

Ruling by executive order is easy enough, until some Supreme Court finally decides how far those powers truly go in the face of Congressional and USSC opposition. If Obama didn't learn anything else from Marbury v Madison, it should be that he is not a dictator and the checks and balances are there for the nation's good, not his personal kingdom.

Dems are rightly scared to be tied to Obama's coat-tails this time out. The supposed big money is NOT coming out of Hollyweird like it used to: even Streisand won't sing for her Dear Leader, and the only way Obama can get $1,000 a handshake (his stated charge), he has to let them also get face-time with George Clooney.

That's bloom off the rose. The hard left is disenchanted, saying he's no better than Bush. The middle left (the Blue Dogs) got eaten in 2008. The Tea Party which the foreign press thinks is dormant has simply gained grass-roots offices. They're not dead, they're elected.

At the end of it is a ballot box, and the simple question. Are you better off in 2012 than you were in 2008? If not, why reelect a failure?

The problem with that question is that not everyone is coming from your viewpoint.  That is, you and I are working Americans.  Or maybe someone had a job and lost it and are upset.  Sure, then they'll look at the state of affairs of the country and vote against Obama.

But there are also a lot of people who have been placed in the permanent underclass by the liberals who don't care how the country is doing.  Taxes got raised?  So?  They don't pay any.  Food prices increased?  So?  They get food stamps.  No jobs?  So?  They're on welfare.  To them, you pose that question and they don't care.  All they know is a Republican will take that stuff away from them.  THAT is what scares THEM.  Not the reverse.  See?
