No Chance Without Paul

Hi!

I'm John (or No Chance Without Paul on this site) and I'm new. I'm really loving this site and am looking forward to becoming part of the community.

Anyway, thought I might share a little experience I had last week. I went to Long Beach for my cousin's wedding (I'm from OC) and when I got out, this lib went up to me and asked me if I'd support the Democrat candidate for State Senate in the area. He was hispanic, and he assumed that since I also am (I'm 1/4 Mexican, fairly tan), that I would for some reason vote for a lib. I asked him who the Republican candidate was, he answered, and I said "I don't live in these parts, but if I did, I'd support him."

He looked at me, pissed off, and asked me why a latino like myself would vote for the "racist party" (his words I'm not even joking Lol)

I looked at him straight in the eye and said:

"What part of fiscal responsibility, limited government, and a strong national defense isn't appealing to latinos?"

The guy was speechless. His eyes got wide, didn't respond, and walked away. It was so perfect lol.

Has a Democrat campaign guy ever harrassed you before?

You supported an all out lib RINO in Tea Party Vetting forum (David Perdue).  Are you insane?

Dude, I supported Broun in the primary, with my second choice being Handel, so Perdue wasn't my first choice, but I certainly prefer him to a RINO Jack Kingston who's been in Congress for way too long. I support Businessmen over career politicians like Kingston.

I'm definitely a supporter of the Tea Party, dude.

Ok, you may be right, I may rethink my decision.

I wish we actually had a real, no-nonsense conservative in the race. Broun, Handel, and Gingrey would've all been better.

Atlanta.

Nice. Who did you originally vote for in the primary for Senate? Broun? Handel?

Broun.

It's a shame he didn't win. He would be one of the best Senators.
