A victory is still a victory.  The DEMS spent a tremendous amount of money and still lost.  Can you imagine how much money they are going to spend to try and defeat Cruz and all the House seats in '18?

This was a bitch-slap:

As Taxed has stated this one question was indeed the "bitch slap". Handel carried Cobb County 61 to 39. Every time they tried to make headway with the republicans in Cobb Country with phone calls they got hung up on. When they went door to door in Cobb County they asked the democrat rep who was Ossoff going to vote for...? In that same conversation they expressed if Ossoff couldn't vote himself in such an important election why should we.

Also the commercials drove the republicans nuts with his ads. Some even expressed if Ossoff was so concerned about spending why did he spend 27 million dollars on a local campaign....? Have to admit close to 50 million dollars was spent on this election with 75% of it coming from the outside. Down in the deep South families can fight among each other, maybe to the extent of someone going to the hospital but when an outsider comes interrupting that fight well guess what you lose. IMO...all that outside money helped Handel more then it did Ossoff.

Also the democrats moved the goal post after the first primary. This also was a call for the republicans to storm the voting booths in Cobb County. See link below

http://politics.blog.ajc.com/2017/05/04/democrats-have-much-riding-on-georgia-voter-registration-lawsuit/

Now Ossoff did win DeKalb Country but he did not move the needle. He received the same amount of votes as he did in the primary. He won  DeKalb County 58 to 42 percent. Fulton County did their thing.

http://www.ajc.com/news/ga-6th-district-election-results/

IMO....Ga-6th was a binary choice once again. Ossoff is a Lyin' big government spending democrat that will kiss Peglosi's ass all over Capital Hill. Handel is a big government spending republican that will kiss the ring of Ryan. She is a honest spend, spend, and spend some more republican. I'm glad she won but i'm super duper excited ....NO MORE DAMN CAMPAIGN ADS.....!

P.S.....Now most of you folks know I like to back up my statements with links. I heard this on the radio that the Ossoff had a hard time tapping into the millennial voting base because they couldn't get in touch with them because they live in the basements of their parents......LOL

Ossoff Voters Impossible To Reach Because They Live With Their Parents, Democratic Organizer Says

A precinct captain for Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff's congressional campaign complained recently that many of his constituents are hard to reach because they still live at home with their parents.

Once again the Marxist economy of 8 long, miserable years comes back to bite the Dims in the ass. Yes, they lost because of Marxist policy, of killing entry level jobs and Commicares elimination of full-time employment ETC, ETC Etc, kids have no other option but to remain home till their late 30s

Wrong.  GA-6th is deep red.  All those ads did was annoy the district.  The question I have (as I'm gathering the data coming in) is if there was such a huge turnout in a very red district, then why did she only win by ~5%?  Why not the 20%+ that is typical in a red district that has been red for 40 years?

Oh C'mon taxed, with 30 Million in the kitty how many "voters" you think the Marxist party bussed in from out of state, how many illegals with phony ID's voted and probably a whole regiment or two of dead Civil war soldiers climbed out of the grave and marched into the polls. Once again the cheating and fraud was not enough to steal another election.

They don't need to bus in illegals. There are plenty in DeKalb County.

Obviously you forget the reason the DEMS lost was because of Russian hacking!  Geesh!!

Mr. Rachel Madcow blames it on bad weather.

Says a lot about those deeply-committed young voters of theirs. They were probably home playing video games, waiting for rain to end, and then the drugs kicked in and they nodded out and....oh, wait, that was Carrie Fisher.

I saw that too and about peed my pants laughing so hard. She either admitted the Right is Hell bent on finishing off the left, or that the Dim constituency is a bunch of snowflakes.
Either way, it's not something one would want to admit to. I wonder if she got a call from Perez, asking "WTF Are You Thinking You Idiot Fag"?

True, but we don't have that problem as much as other areas. It's a district where the Republican gets >20% and trounces the Dems.  I'm just saying the margin should have been a lot more.  I feel a little better about it today after gathering more info because it seems 2018 is going to be bloodier than the last few elections.  Ossof had to run to the right in GA and make himself sound like the next Reagan while he ran against Trump nationally and took money from the San Fran, NY, etc.

Wouldn't it be fun to ask Rachel WHY republicans vote in bad weather and democrats do not?
