I wonder if Huckabee will also be dropped by FOX.

Gonna be fun to see a campaign basically defined as "First Competent Black President".

Competent??  He is black. He is articulate and speaks about conservative issues. He is a doctor.  Other than that what do we really know about him?  He has no political experience and he wants to become president?  Based on what??

Other than the fact that he speaks conservatively and is black, he brings nothing to the table.  It would be foolish to back him.

Obama had the limited experience of a junior senator and no other political experience and look where that got us.

I agree. He has more value as a spokesman for the party and its candidates.

It would be more foolish not to listen to him. his inexperience as a politician should be a plus.
I'm not a big Carson supporter but at this time I'm not supporting anyone. I want to hear what the man has to say and let the primaries Vent him as they are suppose to. He may be a great contender for VP With his expertise in the medical field.
If I was to lean toward anyone at this stage it would be Gov. Walker. I really like that guy but same as Carson he needs the venting of the primaries.

I am with you on Walker. He has taken on the left and unions three times in the last four years and won each time. He has a proven track record of success in WI. Also, he has shown he is a "street fighter" which is what we need. I don't care who the democrats nominate they need to be pressed. No more nice guy stuff in 2016.

I disagree.  There was a time in America, when "political experience" may havve been an asset. Now,,,I donno that means all that much now; other than how well one is connected to which side of the aisle (or both) in the good old boy network of corrupt Oligarchs!

Have you read "Gifted Hands" which is Dr. Ben Carson's story, which was written many years before he  dissed Obama, at the National Prayer Breakfast.  This is a great human being with an incredible background and a real self made American story!

I'm not ready to support him as my pick of the litter, but he's far more than a black man who can be the anti-Obama...although he is that too!

...and supposedly Obama was vetted as well.  That should really tell you something.  You can sit and listen to radio and tv ads all day long and watch a couple of debates during the primaries but that doesn't mean squat.  The candidates are asked specific questions and a lot of times those questions don't really address the important issues.  I think it is rather foolish to base your vote on fluffed up prepared answers by a candidate that has been well groomed by advisers and campaign managers on how to answer questions, stand, speak, and breathe.  Do your own research, background checks, etc.  Voting records speak volumes.  IF the majority of people had checked Obamas background and his voting record (or lack thereof) I highly doubt he would have been elected the first time.  So enlighten me as to why it would be foolish not to listen to Ben Carson when he has zero political experience.

QuoteTheBlaze punditress Dana Loesch calls the Second Amendment a "deal breaker" when it comes to presidential candidates, such as potential, possible, maybe, "very likely," candidate Ben Carson. Carson, a renowned neurosurgeon and Seventh-Day Adventist who has risen rapidly among conservatives after admirable comments at the National Prayer Breakfast in the face of Obama, has been gradually puffed as a favorite for national leadership by a strongly-funded national committee and alternative conservative news outlets.

But Loesch won't have it. She writes,

Conservatives's biggest liability right now is the desperate desire for the next Reagan and the willingness to compromise. I can't support Carson because of his waffling on the Second Amendment, which is a deal breaker for me — and should be as well for any conservative who stands for natural rights.

She relates an exchange that occurred with Glenn Beck:

BECK: Do I have the right to own a semiautomatic weapon?

CARSON: It depsnds on where you live. I think if you live in the midst of a lot of people, and I'm afraid that that semi-automatic weapon is going to fall into the hands of a crazy person, I would rather you not have it.

All we really know about him is his stand on healthcare, he's good there.  But like someone else has already stated, he's already backtracked on his gun laws stand.  That is why we need him to be pressed for answers.  Just handling healthcare couldn't be the only reason to put him in the leadership seat.

At this point in time, I can't see Carson as the candidate we need to lead.  Cruz and Walker are at the top of my list to follow because of the work they have already done to better our country.

That's right. Being a pediatric neurosurgeon doesn't qualify you to run the biggest company in the world. I probably embrace 99 percent of all conservative positions but that doesn't mean I am capable of being the president.

I'll wait till the first GOP candidate-debate to formulate who I'll probably back.  I did it last time, with Cain.

"Mr. Cain, you supported Romney in 2008.  Why are you running-against him?"
"Because he lost."

I'll be looking for that kind of snappy retort from Carson, or anybody with a capitalist-slant on conservatism.

So who is behind Carson's usafirstpac.nationbuilder . com?

Liberals! They designed the software. But what fool would would allow liberals inside information via software they designed?
Would our govt contact the Chinese to develop software for the NSA, CIA, FBI? Of course not, so one has to ask, why does Carson trust John Kerry, or other Democratic bona fides of the NationBuilder brass, Green's fellow co-founders are CEO Jim Gilliam, a producer of the anti-Fox News documentary "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism," and Web designer Jesse Haff, who created the website for Michael Moore's "Slacker Uprising" film.

My impression was that he wasn't the most articulate person in that format anyway.  I really found the show rather boring.

Obama had the limited experience of a junior senator and no other political experience and look where that got us.

I know this will come as a surprise to many.

But being a career politician, prior to becoming President of the United States, is not only something which is not a requirement within our Constitution.

But it is actually something which the founders actively sought to prevent. The Idea of America was never to have people serving in Congress or the White HOuse, the entirety of their lifetimes, listing their profession as "politician"

America was intended to be run by just that, suzziy, the Dr, the Farmer, the Truck Driver, the School teacher the average people.

Given that, please ask the question, what disqualifies him to be PResident?

At least, when that question is asked with Dr. Carson.

A: we don't get fake Birth Certificates and faked Selective Service cards, or a man who looks like Steve Urkel, with Ears he could take flight with, walking around claiming to be black, despite the fact that since his mother is white, he is also half white. And thus is NOT America's first "black President". But rather a liar, who was and still remains, constitutionally in-eligible to hold that office.

Seriously after Obama, I would think folks would be glad the Sob's running are at least American this time round :)

I imagine it's nothing more than a conflict of interest policy, by letting him remain, they'd be forced to allow other potential candidates equal time.
Just a business decision, though one I doubt they wanted to make, after all, FOX is the rino network.
